Job summary
We are recruiting a reliable Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our dedicated team at our National Award Winning care home: Katherine and Griffiths House
Working 25 hours per week, mornings 8.30 - 1.30pm (Times can be discussed at interview)
Excellent hourly rates: £12.65 weekday, £12.90 Saturday and Sunday and bank holiday £16.78. working alternate weekends
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the environment and provide a laundry service for our residents, using the commercial washing machines and dryers.
You will be confident in establishing a professional, friendly relationship with residents, respecting their right to make their own choices, as well as respecting their dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
You will need to have positive communication with our elderly residents and be comfortable in a residential dementia setting. This is a physical, busy and important role.
A clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) result, and good references are expected
