About The RoleNight Care & Support Assistant
Location: Elizabeth House Residential Home, Poole, BH12 4PX
Pay rate: £12.50 - £12.75 per hour + paid breaks
Hours: 36 hrs per week - ( every other weekend off )
We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Care & Support Assistant to join the TEAM at Elizabeth House, our specialist residential and dementia care home, which overlooks the picturesque Canford Heath Nature Reserve in Poole, Dorset.
Who we are looking for:
Elizabeth House is keen to meet people with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
You'll need to be naturally compassionate and of course understanding of others.
Previous care experience is not essential for our Night Care & Support Team.
You may be in a customer care role or have helped within your community. A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.

What you will be doing:
- Delivering excellent person-centred care, focusing on the care needs of each individual resident with dignity and compassion.
- Following the care plans of our residents and fulfilling their personal needs – supporting with washing, dressing, toileting, food, drink & mobility.
- Building relationships and providing companionship – our residents wellbeing is paramount.
- Supporting & encouraging our residents to remain as independent as possible.
- Working as part of a team to create a safe, warm, friendly & welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors in their home.
