You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks that give you practical exposure to both financial and management accounting processes within a fast-paced, values-led care business.

You’ll start by learning the core functions of transactional finance – including processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with payment runs – before progressing to supporting month-end routines, analysing budget variances, and preparing internal reports. Over time, you’ll also assist in the preparation of care home performance reviews, track KPIs, and contribute to cost analysis and forecasting work.

You'll liaise regularly with home managers and regional teams, helping them understand financial results and ensuring timely, accurate reporting. Your role will be critical in helping the organisation maintain financial rigour while supporting sustainable, ethical growth. This is a hands-on learning opportunity, designed to build your competence and confidence as you work towards becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant through our accredited training programme.
