The Role
As a Senior Day Care Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to residents, particularly those living with dementia.
Working within a small household of around 10 residents, you will:
- Support with personal care and administering medication
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of care staff
- Ensure care delivery consistently meets the highest standards
- Manage the staffing rota to meet the diverse needs of residents
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need to have completed or be willing to complete one of the following:
- Book 1 of the All-Wales Induction Framework (on starting with a new social care employer), or complete the full Framework within 6 months
- A recognised Health & Social Care qualification (Level 2 or 3 Diploma, QCF, NVQ) or be a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Commitment to completing a City & Guilds Level 3 Health & Social Care / Practice qualification and maintain registration with Social Care Wales
