Job summary
We are looking for Care Companions for full or part time work within our home. Bank contracts also available to pick up shifts.
Skills / Qualifications:
- At least 6 months experience in a care home setting an absolute must. You must be able to register with Social Care Wales
- and willing to complete an NVQ Level 2. Skills include: Excellent communication Excellent awareness of dementia care and care of the elderly Excellent awareness of dignity and respect of the residents Excellent teamwork Excellent awareness of the needs of those living within a nursing home setting Excellent application of skills around care of the elderly All Wales Moving and Handling Passport and awareness of moving and handling of people essential Please contact the home for more information.
