Care Assistant

Job summary

Carl Court is a small care home with a homely environment providing a homely and relaxed feel for our staff and our service users. We care for up to 15 elderly residents, with varying levels of dementia and other mental health issues including a range of physical needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed senior care assistant who has the relevant experience, qualification, patience, compassion and a desire to be part of our team.

Role Requirements

Experience in caring for the elderly is essential and in addition a qualification in Health and Social Care is required for the senior care assistant position, in addition you will be required to attend external and internal training, helping you to carry out your duties and giving you the opportunity to develop in your role and the potential to further your career.

Role Description:

·  Administering, checking stock and Recording of medication

·  Ability to work effectively whilst supporting a team of staff.

·  Assisting with personal care, assessing and updating assessments.

·  Accurately recording and documenting of daily records and events

·  Ensuring your shift runs smoothly with your team

·  Escorting clients to appointments.

·  Provide emotional support and daily living, assist with all aspects of daily tasks including personal care.

·  Encourage and assist with activities and accompanying for outing and walks .

·  Provide personalised help according care plans
