Are you a dedicated and compassionate leader looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our friendly and professional team at Bankhouse Care Home which has recently come under new ownership (March 2025), by family run business the Argyll Group.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to
ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and resident
satisfaction. You’ll take an active role in staff supervision,
clinical governance, and daily operations – ensuring our home remains
a safe, happy, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of care and nursing staff.
- Support the Home Manager with regulatory compliance and CI standards.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and resident well-being.
- Foster a positive, person-centred culture within the home.
- Cover management duties in the Manager’s absence.
- Rotational On-Call with home manager (Including weekends).
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with valid NMC PIN.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care.
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a care home setting.
Working Hours:
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Over-time available
