Chef Supervisor – Lakeview Care Home, Great Wyrley, WS6 6BA
Hourly Rate: £14.50 | Full-time – 37.5 hours per week | 7:00am – 3:00pm (over a 7-day rota)

Alpha Health Care Limited is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef Supervisor to lead the catering team at Lakeview Care Home in Great Wyrley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
• Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals in line with set menus and residents’ dietary needs
• Supervise, support and train kitchen staff to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Complete stock control, ordering, and all relevant food safety and due diligence documentation
• Support resident engagement through menu planning and feedback

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous supervisory experience in a professional kitchen – ideally within a care, healthcare, or large-scale catering setting
• A relevant catering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or above)
• Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
• A proactive and compassionate approach to working in a care home environment
• Enhanced DBS check (to be completed by us if not already held)
• Legal right to work in the UK and residency in the UK for at least 5 years
