Relief Kitchen Assistant Location: Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, SL2 3HU Pay rate: £12.27 per hour Contracted hours: Relief ABOUT THE ROLE We’re currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our passionate, hard-working and friendly catering team, to create delicious meals, snacks and drinks for our residents. You’ll get to know our residents, understand their likes and dislikes so that mealtimes are always a highlight of their day In joining us, you’ll also become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to all those who live and work in our homes. Farnham Common House care home is in an ideal location with easy access to the M40, M25, M4, and Slough. Our care home provides a comfortable, home-from-home living environment, offering 50 individual rooms positioned over four separate wings. At Farnham Common House care home, there is plenty of communal and outdoor space, so everyone can get involved in a variety of social activities. Personal items can be brought from home and added to rooms to give them that homely feel. What we’re looking for is someone who is keen on cooking and takes pride in kitchen hygiene standards. You’ll have a positive can-do approach, with good communication skills and you’ll be passionate about ensuring our residents receive the best service possible. You’ll be confident in engaging with our elderly residents to understand their individual needs and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home.
