Job description: Service Manager - Learning Disabilities Location: Split
between two homes (15 beds in total) in Hazlemere and Gerrards Cross
Salary: £42,000 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Are you an

from you. we are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead one of our
care services, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is
provided in line with individual needs and regulatory standards. About
the Role As a Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility
for the effective day-to-day operation of the service. Your leadership
will ensure that our residents and service users experience
person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect, and independence.
Key Responsibilities * Oversee care delivery and support systems to
ensure positive outcomes for all individuals using the service. *
Monitor, audit and improve service performance, implementing corrective
action as needed. * Maintain professional registration and regulatory
compliance as a Registered Manager. * Lead and develop a motivated team
through effective recruitment, training, and performance management. *
Implement policies, procedures and best practices that align with legal
and regulatory frameworks. * Manage budgets and resources effectively,
with a focus on occupancy and income generation. * Develop and deliver
annual service plans in line with the Trust’s wider business objectives.
* Ensure facilities, buildings and grounds meet safety and maintenance
standards. * Act as the lead for Health and Safety, including full
compliance with fire legislation. * Promote the service positively to
all stakeholders, including families, professionals, the Regulator and
the local community. About You We are looking for someone who: * Has
previous experience managing a care service, with adults with learning
disabilities. * Holds or is willing to obtain the relevant
qualifications and registration (e.g. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for
Health and Social Care). * Possesses strong leadership and team
management skills. * Is highly organised and proactive with excellent
communication abilities. * Understands care legislation and regulatory
requirements. * Has a commitment to continuous improvement and
person-centred care. This list of duties and responsibilities is by not
