Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead our 23/25-bedded EMI (Elderly Mentally Infirm) residential home based in the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a real difference in the lives of our residents while leading a dedicated care team.

About the Role

As Care Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care, safety, and compliance. You will inspire, lead, and develop your team to create a warm, supportive, and homely environment where residents can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
  • Provide strong leadership to staff, fostering a positive, caring, and supportive culture.
  • Deliver person-centred care tailored to the needs of residents living with dementia and related conditions.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to maintain financial and operational stability.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.

About You

  • Proven experience managing a care home, preferably with dementia/EMI specialism.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
  • Compassionate, approachable, and committed to delivering outstanding care.
