Blaenos House cares for 38 residents living with dementia and/or requiring nursing care. . We are looking for someone to join our friendly team as a Cook. In this role you will be an important member of the team, assisting with the preparation of the fresh homemade meals we serve to our residents.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparing all food items
• Liaising and communicating with care staff to understand the specific diets of our residents and share any dietary / allergen concerns with the chef
• Assisting in identifying items to be ordered and ensuring stock levels of supplies are maintained
• Reporting any incidents or accidents to the Head Chef, appropriately recorded and actioned

Please note the post is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS. The cost of the DBS is covered by Ashberry Care Homes.
