We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our motivated and happy team.
Salary £30,000 per annum, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Excellence: Utilise your experience in maintenance, building and DIY to keep our facilities in top condition, ensuring residents enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.
- Health & Safety Focus: Demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations, implementing procedures to uphold compliance and protect our residents, visitors and staff team members.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, with attention to detail and precision. Supporting residents to arrange their room as they wish. Ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken as required to maintain the standards in the home. Carrying out all general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including all electrical, plumbing joinery and building tasks both inside and outside the Home.
- Communication Skills: Engage with residents, relatives and colleagues warmly and respectfully, providing clear and helpful communication to address maintenance needs and concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with all team members to prioritise tasks, respond promptly to requests, and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
- Providing out of hours emergency service.
We're Looking For:
- Maintenance Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance role within a care environment and strong handyman skills, coupled with a proactive and can-do attitude to tackle tasks both big and small. Have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Good understanding of health and safety, Moving and handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments with a commitment to upholding compliance standards to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and team members.
- Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- IT Proficiency: Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and email, to support administrative tasks and communication effectively.
- Hold a full driving licence.
