Position to cover Basingstoke, Hook and Frimley

We are looking for a Bank Multi-site Painter/Decorator and repairs operative to join our team, to cover our five nursing homes and Oakley Hall hotel based in Basingstoke, Hook and Frimley.

Our Care/Nursing staff to resident ratio is higher than the national average and nearly 50% of our team have been with us for over 5 years.

We are looking for a painter/decorator Person to join our motivated and happy team.

Starting salary £14.50 per hour, Monday to Friday. This is a '0' hour contract covering ad-hoc shifts as and when required, offering lots of flexibility.

We're Looking For:

Someone who currently has good general knowledge of building, use of trade equipment and experience of working from height. They should be confident and experienced in working with the public, in a team, and can take initiative working by themselves. Working to specified timeframes, and to a consistently high standard is key to this role.

As a Decorator, you will be responsible for delivering premium-standard work on a variety of bespoke projects, including day to day decorations to full refurbishments. You will take pride in your finish, understand the importance for the residents and relatives satisfaction, and work with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating to a high standard
  • Surface preparation, filling, sanding, and priming
  • Wallpaper hanging and specialist finishes
  • Work from detailed specifications and drawings
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Liaise professionally with clients and team members

This role also requires a full driving licence and a satisfactory basic DBS check.
