We, at Victoria Grand, are looking for a health care assistant to help us for two hours each morning, days to be agreed as per the rota. Shifts are from 8am to 10am.

You will need to be compassionate, helpful, and kind. To keep up to date you will be required to go on training courses which you will be paid for.

As part of the morning routine, you would be required to be involved in these activities:

- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assisting with resident hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility and transfers of residents
- Monitoring and reporting changes in the residents' conditions
- Assisting with feeding and meal preparation for residents
- Maintaining a clean and organised resident environment
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or bending
