Care Assistant

Job summary

Arun Lodge Residential Care Home is a family run 19 bedroom home for the elderly with varying care needs. Located near the beach in Bognor Regis, we offer a relaxed homely environment where laughter can be regularly heard. We are looking to employ a part time or full time care assistant to join our friendly team.

Your responsibilities will include personal care, assisting with meals and ensuring social interaction. Our residents physical and mental wellbeing our the homes priority. There may be some light housekeeping and food preparation as well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To comply with all statutory and legal requirements relevant to a care home environment.
• To be aware of any changes in a residents health and/or wellbeing and report it to the senior member of staff. 
• Document all interactions using the Nourish E-care system.
• Ensure all care provided is person centred, encouraging our residents to meet their full potential.
• Encourage the residents to participate in the activities provided.
• Responsible for making sure the residents rooms are tidy and presentable at all times and ensuring the home environment is clean and welcoming.
• Attend all mandatory training provided
