?? What You’ll Do:

As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients with day-to-day tasks and personal care, helping them live with dignity, comfort, and independence. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)

  • Supporting with mobility and physical activities

  • Helping at mealtimes and with medication (where appropriate)

  • Providing companionship and emotional support

  • Keeping accurate care records

  • Working closely with families and other healthcare professionals

Skills / Qualifications:

  • A genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life
  • Ability to clearly communicate with residents / families and colleagues
  • Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • Consistent attendance and commitment to the role and residents
  • Able to work well with others in a supportive / collaborative environment
  • Managing tasks efficiently during busy shifts
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing needs
  • Understanding the importance of privacy and discretion
  • Capable of performing tasks that involve movement / lifting and assisting with mobility.
  • Care Certificate - or willingness to work towards it
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or an equivalent qualification)
