compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Working
collaboratively with the home management team, you will lead on and

operational management of the dementia households ensuring colleagues
are competent and confident working across all shifts through promoting
best practice, providing guidance and support. You will work closely

and will work alongside our own Admiral Nurses, outside agencies and our
resident’s family, carers and friends to plan and implement care that
promotes independence and wellbeing to ensure that our residents living
with dementia continue to live fulfilled and meaningful lives. About the
home: Grace Care Centre is a 70 bed Care Home located on the outskirts
of the Historic town of Thornbury. The home offers compassionate and
personalised 24-hour specialist dementia and residential care in a
comfortable, homely setting. About you: You’ll have a QCF Level 3 in

be a positive role model, able to work autonomously and, at times, under

natural ability to get along with others. A supportive leader, you’ll
motivate your team to deliver the best possible care to our residents at
all times. About the benefits: As a Head of Dementia Care you will work
to the Trusts Head of Dementia Care Competency Framework and will
receive ongoing professional development and monthly supervision from
the Admiral Nurse who will also work alongside you during their regular
support visits to the Home. The Trust is a great place to work; we’ve
been providing care for almost 1,000 years and we’re currently the
second largest not-for-profit provider in the UK. Not-for-profit means
that we reinvest every penny we make into our residents, colleagues and
the care homes we live and work in. Therefore, we offer a great range of
benefits, including a competitive salary, training and development.
