Job summary
We are looking for two experienced team leaders to help Manage & Allocate duties, supervise support workers and provide high quality care to the people we support. We are a large service supporting 60 people who have a wide range of care requirements. Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Safeguarding of people we support
- Infection control management
- Effective care planning and assessments
- Medication management and administration of medication
- Maintain records as required by the organisation and professional bodies
- Supporting new admissions and discharges
- Manage and delegate rotas and allocations
- Build relationships and community circles with external professionals
- Assist management with quality audits and continuous improvements

Experience:
- providing care: 1 year (required)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Skills / Qualifications:
- 12 months experience as a team leader is required
- NVQ Level 2 or above
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Demonstration of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin delivery within a residential home
- Clear DBS & Two Satisfactory references
