Activities Coordinator

Robertson NH Ltd is looking for an Activities Coordinator to join their friendly team in a role that has a significant impact on the wellbeing and happiness of our residents.

Within the home, we are dedicated to providing a warm, stimulating, and fulfilling environment for our residents. We believe that engaging activities are crucial to maintaining wellbeing and promoting a sense of purpose.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating and implementing a diverse and engaging programme of activities that caters to the individual interests and needs of our residents. You will be responsible for planning, organising, and facilitating a wide range of activities, both inside and outside the home.

Required to be flexible - weekends

Responsibilities

·  Develop and implement a weekly schedule of activities, taking into account resident preferences and abilities.

·  Organise and facilitate group activities, individual outings, and special events.

·  Encourage resident participation and interaction, creating a positive and inclusive environment.

·  Assess resident interests and needs, tailoring activities accordingly.

·  Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.

·  Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents’ well-being and safety.

·  Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in activities coordination.

Requirements

·  Experience in activities coordination or a related field.

·  Strong organisational and communication skills.

·  Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging residents in activities.

·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·  A genuine passion for supporting older people and enhancing their quality of life.

·  Knowledge of local community resources and opportunities.
