Job summary

Job Title: Night Senior Care Assistant 
Location: Halmer Court, Spalding, PE11 2EL
Salary: £13.25 per hour + Paid Training + Recognised Qualifications
Hours: Full-time and Bank available – Average 38.5 hours per week (includes alternate weekends)
Shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am

Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday – 44 hours

  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – 33 hour

What You’ll Need

  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Level 3 preferred or willingness to complete it)

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • A genuine passion for working with older adults

  • Ability to supervise care staff and lead with confidence

Your Role

As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you’ll:

  • Support and guide care staff on shift

  • Ensure personal, physical, and emotional care needs are met

  • Administer medication as needed

  • Update care plans and maintain accurate records

  • Build trusting relationships with residents and families

  • Promote dignity, independence, and choice
