Care Homes Owned by Glenholme Senior Living Group Ltd

I have been visiting my friend since November 2025 and have always been welcomed with a smile and a good morning from all the staff, reception to cleaners. The care home always looks welcoming and inviting and it is nice to sit in the bistro bar or outside with a tea or a coffee. The events they put on are very organised and entertaining. It's nice that my friend can go to the beauty salon for pampering.

My Dad was fast-tracked on end of life care. I chose Bispham Gardens due to it's location and the wide corridors - My Dad was bed bound and I was told that 'nobody misses out'. Unfortunately my Dad did not live long enough to take part in any of the activities but I know he would've loved being able to join in Sadly my Dad passed away after 4 nights from admission so never got to participate. The time spent @ Glenholme was dignified, peaceful and calm. He slipped away in a nice environment

Management skills need attention, due to no courtesy call on the day my mother left the home.

Mum has ben in this wonderful care home for 2 years. The staff are friendly, caring, watchful and will listen to Mum and myself. The entire building is clean and I am happy that Mum is in safe hands 24 hours a day. The activity calendar is great and we, as a family, has joined in the activities, entertainment and evening get-togethers. Well done to all the staff who work so hard to make it a pleasant place to live

My Nan has been here for just over 2 years and is very happy and has been making lots new friends. Everyday there are activities or a new experiance for her to try. This is a brilliant place and I couldn't wish for anything better.

This year we decided to try Bispham Gardens again on discovering the return of the original manager Fiona who oversaw my mums care. I was cautious after the last manager but am so glad we tried again. Fiona and her team have been absolutely marvellous and it has been the best decision. I feel its the Buckingham Palace of nursing homes with 5 star carers.

I feel blessed that my brother is being so well cared for in such a wonderful place. All the staff are heroes with their dedication and kindness.

Mum moved into Wendreth Court in April. She suffers from severe dementia & gets terribly confused & wanting to go home. The staff all have great compassion & are kind & caring. The atmosphere is always happy & welcoming. Mum now has her hair washed and beautifully dried by a proper hairdresser (something Dad couldn't do). The food is excellent. Every week the home has different events on which are optional. Due to my Mum suffering from falls getting out of bed they have put a special mat beside the bed so they know when she has got out. I could continue to praise the home but I'll end by saying Excellent

My wife has only been in the care home since 20th April, so it is too early to make a concise judgement. Nevertheless, to date I have been impressed.

Mum passed away after having 6 months living at Vera James. The guidance received, the admin staff, the carers showed kindness, helpfulness particularly leading up to mum's passing. Unfortunately mum couldn't get involved in the activities but for some who could, it is exceptional what is available. Mum felt very safe and content at Vera James. Throughout this time the phone was promptly answered and dealt with whatever was needed.

My mother-in-law left the hospital immobile and quite ill. We therefore put her in the care of Wedreth Court. The staff there actually care for their guests, and all without fail, love their jobs, and this shines through in the treatment of their charges. The result is that my mother-in-law is now in much better health than she was in hospital! In addition, she, at 99 years old, enjoys being pampered. Wendreth Court is fantastic!

Mum has been looked after for 8 months with compassion, professionalism and kindness. Mum settled in quickly and felt at home. The staff were always on hand to answer any concerns or questions we had. Although sometimes busy, they always took the time to assist us.

Heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at Glenholme Care home, who looked after Carol like family and cared for us too during her final days. We truly couldn't have wished for a better place or more compassionate people to support us through such a difficult time.

A very warm and friendly yet highly professional home, which has looked after dad to a fantastic standard. Much better than home!! The staff and facilities are amazing.

She really enjoys the entertainment put on by the staff. The facilities are excellent, and she really enjoys the garden area.

My father has complex needs. He is treated with dignity and respect. The carers are excellent. He is very happy living at Wendreth Court. Weekend visiting can be challenging. The receptionist only works until 3pm. If I arrive after that time or take dad out, it can be difficult to get someone to answer the door.

A very professional team that all go the extra mile.

We've always found the staff helpful, friendly and caring. Management are always visible, responsive to any concerns and interested in the wellbeing of the wider family. We visit regularly and have always found a consistent approach in caring for Dad. The team are proactive in informing us of any issues. We are so grateful for their help and understanding.

A dear friend of 30 years standing with no close family, spent his last 3 months at Thimbleby Court. Whilst his health issues prevented him from taking part in many activities, whilst visiting him I was very impressed with what was on offer. At all times he was treated with kindness and respect, as I was also when visiting him.
