Mum passed away after having 6 months living at Vera James. The guidance received, the admin staff, the carers showed kindness, helpfulness particularly leading up to mum's passing. Unfortunately mum couldn't get involved in the activities but for some who could, it is exceptional what is available.
Mum felt very safe and content at Vera James. Throughout this time the phone was promptly answered and dealt with whatever was needed.

My mother-in-law left the hospital immobile and quite ill. We therefore put her in the care of Wedreth Court. The staff there actually care for their guests, and all without fail, love their jobs, and this shines through in the treatment of their charges. The result is that my mother-in-law is now in
much better health than she was in hospital! In addition, she, at 99 years old, enjoys being pampered. Wendreth Court is fantastic!

My mum has lived in Holdingham Grange for two years. In that time, she has been really well looked after. After a short spell in hospital, the staff spent lots of time and dedication making sure she got back to the best of her health.
She really enjoys the entertainment put on by the staff. The facilities
are excellent, and she really enjoys the garden area.

Mum has been looked after for 8 months with compassion, professionalism and kindness. Mum settled in quickly and felt at home. The staff were always on hand to answer any concerns or questions we had. Although sometimes busy, they always took the time to assist us.

My father has complex needs. He is treated with dignity and respect. The carers are excellent. He is very happy living at Wendreth Court. Weekend visiting can be challenging. The receptionist only works until 3pm. If I arrive after that time or take dad out, it can be difficult to get someone to answer

We've always found the staff helpful, friendly and caring. Management are always visible, responsive to any concerns and interested in the wellbeing of the wider family. We visit regularly and have always found a consistent approach in caring for Dad. The team are proactive in informing us of any issues.

Dad came to Bispham Gardens with terminal cancer after a long stay in hospital, and a life expectancy of a few weeks. Dad received the best of care and support from the staff who were often stretched for resources. The home has a lovely calm and clean environment and every ad hoc visit myself and family
made resulted in no issues. Thank you.

We are delighted with the care that she has received here - and although it has taken her time to adjust to her diagnosis of M.N.D. and the prospect of living in a nursing home, she is now
more settled and beginning to engage with others - all due to the kindness, encouragement and patience of all the staff.

A very good experience staying here. The only downside was the radiators malfunctioned during the night, kept banging.
Excellent smiley staff, all very helpful and friendly. Visitors were also treated kindly with teas coffees and cakes.

Mum has been in Vera James for 3 years now, and I have neve been disapointed with her care. There are so many activities and family are always welcome to join in or help which for me is special. I love to see mum keeping busy, smiling and enjoying herself at 94 years old.

The management and all the staff are always friendly and efficient, and put me at ease when visiting mother.
At first, I wondered if I was doing the right thing by taking mother out of her home, but am confident I did. She is well looked after, safe and in company. I know she really enjoys being well
fed and in others' company.
