My mother was admitted to Bispham Gardens for palliative care. We chose this home for its high level of nursing care as my mother had bladder cancer and some significant nursing and care needs.
She was only in here for three weeks before she passed away. The care staff were amazing, nothing was too
much trouble, they looked after her in messy and difficult circumstances really well. They allowed us to be a family around her in her final weeks. The nursing staff managed her end of life care with the upmost sensitivity and ensured she was never in pain or discomfort. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's is also a purpose-built nursing home and my mum was able to have a bath via their hoist. The benefits of being in there were many and they also looked after us as well offering cups of coffee and food when we didn't want to leave mums side. A great place and a big thank you from all of our family. X

I came to Glenholme on a regular basis to see my mother, my mum is bedbound, she is treated very kindly, my mum's personal care is taken care of by care staff who always treat her with respect. I like to sit for a while in reception and have a coffee after visiting my mother, the reception staff are
always smiling and have a chat with me. I have had a great overall experience.

I am really happy for my husband to be looked after in this care home. I could not manage to look after him any longer at home as he cannot wash, walk, feed himself. All the staff at the home look after him very well. My husband has vascular dementia/Alzheimers, heart problems, asthma and bladder problems.

What a wonderful place, the care Mum received was incredible. Sensitive to her needs, and respectful of all requirements.
Initially we felt we had let Mum down, putting her into care. However, the professional care she received, no doubt prolonged her life, and certainly enriched her final years,
far more than we could have managed on our own.
Knowing her care was being catered for, we could merely enjoy our times together, without the stress of the caring role.
The food was wonderful, and Mum eat more heartily than she had at home !
Whilst Mum didn't always appreciate the activities, there were plenty on offer. Singers, performers, presentations, as well as trips out. There will be something to entertain everyone.
Thank you one and all , for everything .

Alot of care homes talk the talk of being a family etc but Holdingham Grange follows through. Their staff and most importantly the management team really care and take the time to really get to know each resident. They've really gone out the way to make my father in law feel as comfortable as he can

My father jas been in Holdingham Grange for some months now. We would have loved to care for him at home, but realise his care needs are best served where he is. He is happy and content. I never need to worry that his health or needs won't be met by the kind, caring, professional staff. There is a high
degree of trust between the family and the staff. His well-being is of utmost importance and I am content in knowing he is well looked after. Extraordinary place, incredible staff. 5 stars.

My grandad is a resident at Holdingham Grange and he is very happy there. He is a very private man, and we thought it would be a difficult transition from living at home on his own to moving into a care facility, but everyone at Holdingham Grange is so kind and caring and respectful of my grandad and
his needs. Everyone from the cleaning, catering, caring and management staff are really great. It feels more like family. I will definitely recommend it.
