Mum moved into Wendreth Court in April. She suffers from severe dementia & gets terribly confused & wanting to go home. The staff all have great compassion & are kind & caring. The atmosphere is always happy & welcoming. Mum now has her hair washed and beautifully dried by a proper hairdresser (something Dad couldn't do). The food is excellent. Every week the home has different events on which are optional. Due to my Mum suffering from falls getting out of bed they have put a special mat beside the bed so they know when she has got out. I could continue to praise the home but I'll end by saying Excellent

My wife has only been in the care home since 20th April, so it is too early to make a concise judgement. Nevertheless, to date I have been impressed.

My mother-in-law left the hospital immobile and quite ill. We therefore put her in the care of Wedreth Court. The staff there actually care for their guests, and all without fail, love their jobs, and this shines through in the treatment of their charges. The result is that my mother-in-law is now in much better health than she was in hospital! In addition, she, at 99 years old, enjoys being pampered. Wendreth Court is fantastic!

My father has complex needs. He is treated with dignity and respect. The carers are excellent. He is very happy living at Wendreth Court. Weekend visiting can be challenging. The receptionist only works until 3pm. If I arrive after that time or take dad out, it can be difficult to get someone to answer the door.

J.M.B is not an easy person to be caring for because of her moods. She often looks happy, says how good everyone is to her and likes to join in with some activities. She often says how lucky she feels to be here.

I am very happy with the service & care my brother is receiving from Wendreth Court. The management staff are always very professional & easy to approach. My brother has settled in extremely well and is very happy here, and tells me he loves it. Only in the last two months since his admission I have seen a huge improvement in his health, and he has actually gained weight, which is a great bonus. Again, a huge thank you to everyone for the wonderful care provided.

From the moment we entered the home, the team were welcoming and listened to our requirements. Dad needed respite for several weeks and nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to ensure that he was looked after and received the best care possible. His care was first class and his health improved dramatically. They also took the lead in sorting his medication out with the doctor's surgery and I sincerely thank them for that.
The home's decor is of a very high standard and the gardens are lovely. They will be even more so when established. All of the staff do the best they can for the residents Thank you all.

I would not hesitate to take my father back to Wendreth Court.

My father who is nearly 90 with various care needs stayed for 10 days for respite care in July.
The home care was well presented very modern and spacious. Father's room was of a good size with a door leading out onto a lovely patio adjacent to gardens. The room had plenty of room for walkers and wheelchairs.
All the staff that I met were very professional and caring.

I would recommend the home wholeheartedly.
