I have been visiting my friend since November 2025 and have always been welcomed with a smile and a good morning from all the staff, reception to cleaners. The care home always looks welcoming and inviting and it is nice to sit in the bistro bar or outside with a tea or a coffee. The events they put on are very organised and entertaining. It's nice that my friend can go to the beauty salon for pampering.

Management skills need attention, due to no courtesy call on the day my mother left the home.

Mum has ben in this wonderful care home for 2 years. The staff are friendly, caring, watchful and will listen to Mum and myself. The entire building is clean and I am happy that Mum is in safe hands 24 hours a day. The activity calendar is great and we, as a family, has joined in the activities, entertainment and evening get-togethers. Well done to all the staff who work so hard to make it a pleasant place to live

My Nan has been here for just over 2 years and is very happy and has been making lots new friends. Everyday there are activities or a new experiance for her to try. This is a brilliant place and I couldn't wish for anything better.

Mum has been looked after for 8 months with compassion, professionalism and kindness. Mum settled in quickly and felt at home. The staff were always on hand to answer any concerns or questions we had. Although sometimes busy, they always took the time to assist us.

Heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at Glenholme Care home, who looked after Carol like family and cared for us too during her final days. We truly couldn't have wished for a better place or more compassionate people to support us through such a difficult time.

A dear friend of 30 years standing with no close family, spent his last 3 months at Thimbleby Court. Whilst his health issues prevented him from taking part in many activities, whilst visiting him I was very impressed with what was on offer. At all times he was treated with kindness and respect, as I was also when visiting him.

Excellent smiley staff, all very helpful and friendly. Visitors were also treated kindly with teas coffees and cakes.

I can say that without exception, I have been treated with dignity and respect by the efficient and kind staff.

My father has been at Holdingham Grange for the last couple of months. The care he has received has been exceptional. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times. He enjoyed his time here greatly, and I also found my time here visiting enjoyable too. I cannot thank you all enough for your hard work, care and friendliness.

My father in law Fred is currently residing here for end of life care. All of the staff have been exceptional, nothing has been too much trouble, and my father in law has been cared for in the very best way, in the final chapter of his life. We will forever be grateful for the care that he has received in the short amount of time that he has been at Holdingham Grange. My partner Luke is spending lots of time here with his father, and the staff have treated him with compassion and empathy, in what is the most difficult of times for us as a family. The care home itself is just beautiful, spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. I have an absolutely nothing negative I could say about the staff, the grounds, or the care that my father in law has received. We will forever be grateful to you all at Holdingham Grange. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Very grateful that my husband and myself were able to have rooms with you so quickly and smoothly. Most of the care was very good and professional which was most appreciated. There were a few problems but these were generally sorted out. There were times when the staffing levels were inadequate and this put a strain on the carers and had a knock on affect on the residents. Generally I am very pleased with the care I had.

I spent two weeks in respite at Thimbley Court, accompanying my wife, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's four years earlier. My aim was to familiarize her with the care home, so that, should I no longer feel able to care for her or simply need a short time away from our apartment, there would be a place she is happy to go to. This hope was realised, as she felt she was very well looked after, especially during the three days I spent away visiting my sister. Staff were very friendly and supportive, always ready to give time to individuals' needs, whatever the pressures on them. My only reservation was the eating arrangements: while I appreciate the problems of serving assorted residents with a variety of disabilities, meals in the dining room were often a fairly tedious experience, with staff simultaneously serving us and sorting out food for those who were bedridden. Some managed this better than others. Overall, a positive experience, and my thanks to all who looked after us.
