Locations: Ashbury Lodge Care Home, 261 Marlborough Road, Swindon, SN3 1NW
Pay : £12.71 per hour, paid monthly
Hours 36-48 hours a week / Day shifts (8am-8pm) & Night shifts (8pm-8am) / Alternate Weekends required

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll lead by example and support your team to deliver the highest standard of care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal and emotional support to residents with dignity and professionalism
  • Supporting with daily needs such as medication, toileting, and bathing
  • Supervising and mentoring care staff, promoting teamwork and a positive atmosphere
  • Keeping accurate records and ensuring smooth handovers between shifts
  • Acting as a point of contact for families, visitors, and other professionals
  • Supporting the management team with assigned responsibilities and tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience in a similar senior care role
  • A team player with strong communication and leadership skills
  • A kind, patient and respectful attitude — always putting residents first
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and alternate weekends
