We are a family-owned and run residential and nursing home for the elderly, established in 1985. With nearly four decades of experience, we are proud of our reputation for high-quality care and a warm, dedicated team. We specialise in providing exceptional support to older adults — and now, we’re looking for a talented Head Chef to join us.

?? About the Role

This is a hands-on Head Chef position within a friendly, supportive care home environment. You will lead our kitchen team, creating delicious, nutritious, and comforting meals for our residents — from traditional home-cooked favourites to speciality dishes tailored to individual dietary needs.

You’ll work in a well-equipped kitchen, featuring a Rational 5 Senses oven, chill room, and everything you need to deliver meals with care and creativity.

????? What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a professional and passionate chef who is enthusiastic about making a real difference to residents’ daily lives. The ideal candidate will have:

• ? Professional chef qualifications

• ? Extensive knowledge of Safer Food, Better Business (SFBB) and relevant Health & Safety legislation

• ? Experience preparing meals to the IDDSI framework for various dietary needs

• ? Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team

• ? Menu planning skills, including stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage

• ? A professional, friendly approach with excellent communication skills

• ? Drive, creativity, and a sense of humour — essential ingredients in our kitchen!
