Due to recent changes within the home, we are now recruiting for Day Senior Care Assistants to join our established and existing team at Harbour Manor, in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll take the lead in guiding and supporting a team of Care Assistants, ensuring that exceptional standards of care are maintained throughout your shift. This is a hands-on, people-first role with responsibilities that include:

  • Overseeing the smooth running of your allocated floor
  • Administering and managing medication
  • Reviewing and updating residents’ care plans
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced staff
  • Conducting staff supervisions and return-to-work discussions

You will be the senior team member on duty, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for passionate, caring individuals who are proud of their role in helping others. You should have:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a supervisory role (preferred)
  • At least 1 years’ experience in providing care (preferred)
  • A desire to lead by example and make a real difference
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development
