home with state-of-the-art facilities.

About the role:
The Activities Coordinator
(known internally as Lifestyles Coordinator) plays a vital
part in helping residents live well each day. You’ll support the
organisation and promotion of a varied activities programme, ensuring
it is inclusive, engaging and tailored to residents’ individual
interests and needs.
You’ll also encourage colleagues and residents to get involved, making sure everyone feels part of the home’s social life and community.
Salary:
£12.21 per hour.
Shift Pattern:
20 hours per week, worked on a
rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location:
Coronation Close, March,
England, PE15 9PP.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the delivery of a diverse programme of activities that reflect residents’ personalities, preferences and choices.
- Championing person-centred care by empowering residents to make lifestyle choices that are meaningful to them.
- Spending time with residents in genuine, engaging conversations and supporting activities at a pace that values individuality, dignity and communication differences.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience planning or supporting events or activities, ideally within a care or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a real passion for enhancing residents’ wellbeing.
- Knowledge of dementia care is an advantage.
- The ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to home life.
