As a concerned relative, I have found that since the placement of the new general manager the moral has reached rock bottom with many experienced carers leaving. The manager showed disregard toward their staff and residents.
Reply from Debby Dawson, Marketing Manager at Aria Court Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you feel concerned, and we would like to reassure you that all comments raised by residents' families are taken seriously.
At Athena, we place great importance on maintaining a positive, respectful environment for our residents and staff, and we regularly seek feedback to help us reflect and improve. We value openness and aim to listen carefully when concerns are brought to our attention.
We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly, should you wish, so that we can better understand your experience and address any specific concerns. Our Regional Director and Home Manager would be happy to meet with you at a convenient time.

I highly recommend Aria Court CH to anyone looking for safe hands to care for their loved ones.
From housekeeping,to kitchen staff carers and admin nothing is too much trouble for them, whether residents or relatives. The home from home is clean, food is good and residents are cared for with respect.
When I was looking for care for my hubby Aria Court was the first and only place I viewed as I was put at ease immediately and knew this was the place he would be happy and well cared for.
There are activities that the residents can attend if they wish, but not pushed if they would rather sit in the lounge.
I would like to say a big Thankyou to all staff members for doing a wonderful job and providing a safe and caring place for my hubby.

Aria Court is a lovely care home, my mum has been a resident for nearly four years. Mum is 96 and the staff are caring and respectful. The manager is always helpful and has done a lot to make sure that all staff are employed by the home and not agency staff unless in an emergency. The food is cooked
on-site by a wonderful chef.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Aria Court for the kind care and attention they gave my dad. He developed increasingly complex needs which they took in their stride. Living a fair distance away meant real peace of mind too. As visitors they always listened to our requests, making
it easy to communicate, sometimes needing to speak with us in the early hours. Nothing was ever a problem, when I visited I was always kept up to date with his care plan and progress.
Reply from Abhilash Gopi, General Manager at Aria Court Care HomeThank you for your kind feedback and support in delivering the best person-centred service to your dad during his stay at Aria Court. Leaving Dad in a care home when I live miles away and while travelling extensively is made less worrying as a result of the staff in the Nene home at Aria Court Care Home. I produce brief daily video chats from wherever I am which I then send to his phone. The staff help Dad access my posts and assist
him in making video replies. The benefit of this to Dad is enormous.

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.358)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.358) out of 10 for Aria Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 17 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.588 for Aria Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (147 Excellents x 5) + (43 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (5 Poors x 2) + (4 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 204 Ratings = 4.588
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.77 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Aria Court Care Home is based on 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 92 registered maximum number of service users is 18.4. 16 Positive Reviews ÷ 18.4 = 0.87
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
