Overall Experience

My husband is a resident of Aria Court. He is treated with love and care. The staff don't look after my husband because it's just a job but because they genuinely care, often putting music/audiobooks/the radio and sensory lights on for him. The staff also look after me and are wonderful putting up with me worrying, fussing, flapping and panicking. It was the hardest decision I've made deciding my husband needed to go into the home but he gets better care than I could give him and we have gained a family. The staff do everything they can to look after my husband and he has only gone to hospital for things as a last resort if they can't sort a situation out. The home supports us in having a weekly video call and daily phone calls.

The staff at Aria Court are very friendly. They have been caring for mum for over a year. If I have any problems I just find a member of staff to speak to and it's sorted very quickly. The home has been upside down with renovations but all seems finished now and residents are a lot more settled.

My mother moved to Aria Court in June 2019 following on from a disappointing time in another care home. I am very happy with the way she has settled in. The stafff are very kind, thoughtful and professional. The activities are brilliant with plenty of choices for the residents. This was one of my biggest problems at the previous home where there was simply nothing to do. I thought moving mum would be difficlut for her, but she settled in immediately and is a lot happier.

My father is very happy in himself since he's been living in Aria Court. He has activities to do which engage him mentally. He has the freedom to move around safely and is respected for being himself. I feel as his daughter, completely at ease knowing his needs are fully met.

The staff are caring and genuinely strive to ensure he and all the others are happy and feel like they're part of a wider family.

My nan has been in the home over 2 years and has received excellent care. The care team and management have been really understanding with nan's behaviour and have gone above and beyond to help and support close family. The meals are always well presented and taste good. The room sizes are great with plenty of space. Staff are approachable and easy to talk to.

My mum has been a resident at Aria Court since February 2016 and since that time her needs have gradually, yet significantly changed. With skill and great compassion, her care has adjusted to her changing needs, both physically and emotionally. A contributory factor in this high level of care, I believe, is because until recently, when she moved to another part of the home, the same community team leader had overall responsibility for her care and built a depth of knowledge regarding mums life, personality, likes and dislikes etc., as well as having a real relationship. Mums needs are different now. I was advised that is would be beneficial for her to move to another part of the home. The move to a new room was so thoughtfully and sensitively managed it really didn't unsettle her at all. I am very happy for her to remain living at Aria Court.

Hello, I am Sreeja, and I am the Home Manager here at Aria Court.

Nursing runs in my family, and from an early age, I knew that I wanted to follow in my mother’s footsteps and dedicate my life to caring for others.

I obtained my BSc in General Nursing in India, specialising in intensive care and stem cell transplants.

Once in the UK, I was commended for my clinical management and expert patient care as Clinical Lead Nurse and Deputy General Manager for one of the largest care home providers in the country.

It is a true privilege to get to know our residents and their families and friends, listen to their life stories, and share meaningful moments together while creating happy memories in a warm and supportive environment.
