My father is very happy in himself since he's been living in Aria Court. He has activities to do which engage him mentally. He has the freedom to move around safely and is respected for being himself. I feel as his daughter, completely at ease knowing his needs are fully met.
The staff are caring
and genuinely strive to ensure he and all the others are happy and feel like they're part of a wider family.

My nan has been in the home over 2 years and has received excellent care. The care team and management have been really understanding with nan's behaviour and have gone above and beyond to help and support close family. The meals are always well presented and taste good. The room sizes are great with
plenty of space. Staff are approachable and easy to talk to.

My mum has been a resident at Aria Court since February 2016 and since that time her needs have gradually, yet significantly changed. With skill and great compassion, her care has adjusted to her changing needs, both physically and emotionally. A contributory factor in this high level of care, I believe,
is because until recently, when she moved to another part of the home, the same community team leader had overall responsibility for her care and built a depth of knowledge regarding mums life, personality, likes and dislikes etc., as well as having a real relationship. Mums needs are different now. I was advised that is would be beneficial for her to move to another part of the home. The move to a new room was so thoughtfully and sensitively managed it really didn't unsettle her at all. I am very happy for her to remain living at Aria Court.
Reply from Toby Swallow, Sales & Marketing Manager at Aria Court Care HomeThank you for your kind words and it lovely to hear that you feel Mum is being so well looked after.

Since the first time I looked around Aria Court last August 2017, I have been met with respect and kindness which made my mind up, I was put at rest so easily for the care I knew my mum would receive, which was exceeded over and beyond my expectations. The staff have treated my mum with the respect
and care I so wished for her. It puts my mind at rest knowing I can go away and leave my mum in the nursing home in perfectly good hands.

I have good reason to be thankful to the staff at this comfortable and caring home. Everyone here has tried so hard to make the experience as painless as possible for both of us.
Following a stroke, brain damage can cause multiple problems to the patient, family and carers. The staff here tried, at
all times, to ameliorate these problems and have succeeded on many levels.
This is a well run, caring home.

My mother was treated with extreme kindness and was allowed to keep her dignity. She was allowed to have all her own things around her, the room was large, light and airy and nothing was too much trouble. We were allowed to come and go as we pleased.

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.358)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.358) out of 10 for Aria Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 17 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.588 for Aria Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (147 Excellents x 5) + (43 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (5 Poors x 2) + (4 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 204 Ratings = 4.588
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.77 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Aria Court Care Home is based on 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 92 registered maximum number of service users is 18.4. 16 Positive Reviews ÷ 18.4 = 0.87
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
