My mother moved to Aria Court in June 2019 following on from a disappointing time in another care home. I am very happy with the way she has settled in. The stafff are very kind, thoughtful and professional. The activities are brilliant with plenty of choices for the residents. This was one of my biggest
problems at the previous home where there was simply nothing to do. I thought moving mum would be difficlut for her, but she settled in immediately and is a lot happier.

My father is very happy in himself since he's been living in Aria Court. He has activities to do which engage him mentally. He has the freedom to move around safely and is respected for being himself. I feel as his daughter, completely at ease knowing his needs are fully met.
The staff are caring
and genuinely strive to ensure he and all the others are happy and feel like they're part of a wider family.

My nan has been in the home over 2 years and has received excellent care. The care team and management have been really understanding with nan's behaviour and have gone above and beyond to help and support close family. The meals are always well presented and taste good. The room sizes are great with
plenty of space. Staff are approachable and easy to talk to.

My mum has been a resident at Aria Court since February 2016 and since that time her needs have gradually, yet significantly changed. With skill and great compassion, her care has adjusted to her changing needs, both physically and emotionally. A contributory factor in this high level of care, I believe,
is because until recently, when she moved to another part of the home, the same community team leader had overall responsibility for her care and built a depth of knowledge regarding mums life, personality, likes and dislikes etc., as well as having a real relationship. Mums needs are different now. I was advised that is would be beneficial for her to move to another part of the home. The move to a new room was so thoughtfully and sensitively managed it really didn't unsettle her at all. I am very happy for her to remain living at Aria Court.

Since the first time I looked around Aria Court last August 2017, I have been met with respect and kindness which made my mind up, I was put at rest so easily for the care I knew my mum would receive, which was exceeded over and beyond my expectations. The staff have treated my mum with the respect
and care I so wished for her. It puts my mind at rest knowing I can go away and leave my mum in the nursing home in perfectly good hands.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.670)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.670) out of 10 for Aria Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 23 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.670 for Aria Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (212 Excellents x 5) + (50 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (5 Poors x 2) + (4 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 276 Ratings = 4.67
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Aria Court Care Home is based on 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 92 registered maximum number of service users is 18.4, which has been reached with 22 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Hello, I am Sreeja, and I am the Home Manager here at Aria Court.

Nursing runs in my family, and from an early age, I knew that I wanted to follow in my mother’s footsteps and dedicate my life to caring for others.
I obtained my BSc in General Nursing in India, specialising in intensive care and stem cell transplants.

Once in the UK, I was commended for my clinical management and expert patient care as Clinical Lead Nurse and Deputy General Manager for one of the largest care home providers in the country.

As an experienced Home Manager, I know instinctively what outstanding care provision looks like, and it is my responsibility to ensure that our residents here at Aria Court receive this every single day. The whole team are passionate and committed to providing the highest standard of Residential, Dementia, and Nursing Care always.

I fully understand the trust that residents and their families place in us when they choose Aria Court, and I take this responsibility very seriously. It is a true privilege to get to know our residents and their families and friends, listen to their life stories, and share meaningful moments together while creating happy memories in a warm and supportive environment.

If there is ever anything I can do to help, you would like to talk about the care we provide or find out more about our short stay respite breaks, please do not hesitate to get in touch. My door is always open, and I look forward to welcoming you to Aria Court very soon!

My Nursing career began 10 years ago at India’s top-rated Hospital in Bangalore, where I gained my BSc in General Nursing and caring for older people has always been very close to my heart. I bring a wealth of experience from many years working extensively in Residential Care / Dementia Care and Nursing Homes throughout Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

As regional Clinical Deputy Manager for one of the U.K’s largest care providers, I supported multiple facilities, ensuring quality care was consistently delivered, and the highest standards of clinical care were always provided for residents.

Supporting our team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care is my number one priority at Aria Court, and I thoroughly enjoy mentoring, training and supporting our team members in their careers too!

My vision is to ensure that our residents here at the home feel valued, safe, and empowered to live dignified, fulfilling lives whilst at the same time continuously enhancing our care practices through innovation, training, and collaboration - ensuring that we provide exceptional support tailored to every resident’s bespoke care needs.
