state-of-the-art facilities.

About the role:
The Activities Lead (known
internally as Lifestyles Lead) plays a key role in ensuring
our residents enjoy stimulating, enjoyable and person-centred
activities every day. You’ll plan, organise and promote a varied
programme that supports independence, wellbeing and inclusion, while
reflecting the principles of excellent clinical, dementia and
person-centred care.
Working closely with your team, you’ll encourage every colleague to be part of the activities programme, making sure our residents’ lives are enriched through connection, creativity and choice.
Salary:
£13.21 per hour.
Shift Pattern:
36 hours per week, worked on a
rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location:
Coronation Close, March,
England, PE15 9PP.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leading the Activities Team to create and deliver engaging events and activities that residents and their families will love.
- Promoting dignity, respect and independence through high-quality, meaningful activities.
- Building genuine relationships with residents, understanding their interests and supporting their wellbeing.
- Contributing to quarterly residents’ and relatives’ newsletters to keep our community connected.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience planning and coordinating events or activities, ideally in a care or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of others.
- Knowledge of dementia care is highly desirable.
- A proven ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
