Clinical Service Manager, St Neots

£54,512 - £57,919 per annum

Full Time 40 hours per week - Full time, participation in the on-call rota with occasional weekends as required.

We are looking for an exceptional Clinical Lead / RGN to join our management team at The Marbrook Centre to lead our 28 bedded rehabilitation unit. We are an established neurorehabilitation and complex nursing home, with a strong and enviable reputation for excellence with our external healthcare partners. We operate from a high-end, purpose-built luxury facility for those who have experienced life changing events or have long term neuro related conditions.

We need someone who genuinely wants to make a difference and who understands the importance of empowering and enabling our residents through owning and running their own dedicated service. You may currently be working as a Lead/Senior Nurse, Deputy or General Manager in a small home.

We are looking for someone who will provide support to the General Manager and line manage, coach, and supervise your allocated staff team.  You will have emotional intelligence and advanced interpersonal skills, alongside a methodical, structured, solution focused approach. In return you will be well resourced and supported by a close, committed management team who work collaboratively with you to develop and engage your staff team and service provision.

You will of course be supernumery to our staff ratios, but will also have the opportunity to deliver hands, so your clinical skills are kept up to date and you do not miss out on delivering first hand care.

Ideally you will have some neuro experience although it is not essential, but it will be helpful if you have worked at a senior level, managed people, and contributed to decisions so that you can help us continue to achieve our strategic objectives. If this is a career development for you, we will train and support you to become a great clinical leader.

You will need to be systematic and administratively/IT efficient, with an excellent interpersonal manner that can work with people at all levels.

Our core values of competence, choice and compassion influence every action we take. You will have the opportunity to build wonderful relationships with residents, their families and our staff and in return you will gain a fulfilling career and will go home at night feeling satisfied, positive and proud of your impact on many people’s lives.

We don’t just accept difference, we welcome it. No matter what your sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, gender identity, religion or any other characteristic, we welcome your application. As a team we actively celebrate, support and thrive on diversity for the benefit of our residents and staff, and we believe this creates an environment of empowerment and mutual respect and therefore excellence in care.

Some benefits you will receive:

·  Highly competitive rates of pay

·  Double pay for bank holidays

·  Pension

·  enhanced maternity pay

·  Great holiday allowance – increases with long service

·  opportunities to mentor students and junior staff, share your experience, and build their knowledge and confidence
