Activities Assistant 24 hours a week
Based at our brand-new care home, Elm Lodge in Hartley Wintney, RG27 8JG. Newly opened, Elm Lodge is a 60-bedded care home providing residential care and offers a fantastic opportunity to set the foundations of an outstanding home.

We are looking for a reliable, caring Activities Assistant who wants to make a difference by contributing to providing the best care possible at all times. Please be advised that this role would require you to drive a medium sized (12 seats), manual minibus on occasion for trips out with Residents.
Our Activities Team provide a full and varied activities programme of therapeutic group, individual and one-to-one activities for residents to enjoy. Activities are tailored towards the individual, supported by life story work; in line with Forest Care’s ethos of a person-centered approach to holistic care
Salary £12.29 per hour. Various shifts including alternate weekends, 24 hours a week required.

We are looking for a reliable, caring Activities Assistant who wants to make a difference by contributing to providing the best care possible at all times.
Main Duties of our Activities Assistant;
- Help to plan and organise programmes of individual and group activities
- Help to review and evaluate the activities programme so that it is kept up to date and fit for purpose.
- Work closely with residents, staff and others involved in the organising and the running of events.
- To undertake any other duties as required by line management
Skills and Experience of our Activities Assistant;
- Previous experience of organising events and activities within a care home setting (not essential, as training is provided)
- Good organisational skills
- A moderate level of computer literacy
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
- Willing to work towards Level 2 Napa Qualification in Activities
