Job summary

Ashton Manor is looking for a Care Companion to join their friendly and passionate care team.
 

The role of Care Companion is to support our carers, be a companion for our residents and lend a helping hand with kindness and compassion, especially during the busiest parts of the day where our carers need some extra support.

As a Care Companion, your main goal is to find ways to enhance our residents’ lives and make sure that they feel happy, secure and comfortable within the home. This is a very varied role, ideal for someone who is compassionate, chatty and reliable.

Responsibilities

·  Carrying out activities with the residents in a group or one-to-one.

·  Offering drinks and refreshments to residents.

·  Helping during mealtimes.

·  Chatting with residents.

·  Being there to provide emotional support to the residents.

·  Supporting the care team when needed.
