Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated NVQ Level 3 qualified Bank Senior Care Assistant to work in supporting our team of Care Assistants in delivering a high standard of care to our residential clients at our small and friendly care home based in the pretty village of Kirton.
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of person-centered care. You’ll support with daily living tasks, medication administration, and lead by example for other care staff on shift.
Your main duties will include:
- Supervising and supporting care assistants to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
- Administering medication safely and accurately in line with company policies.
- Assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines.
- Maintaining accurate records and care documentation.
- Promoting dignity, choice, and independence at all times.
We take pride in ensuring all our clients are regularly assessed in order to deliver the high quality of care they require.
Our shift patterns are 7am till 7:15pm and 7pm till 7:15am. Flexibility is required to cover staff holiday and sickness (including night shifts). This may lead to a more permanent, contracted position for the right candidate.
Training where necessary is provided and fully supported.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a senior care or team leader role within a care home or a similar setting.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and a caring, reliable nature.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays on a flexible “bank” basis.
