About the Role

We have a dedicated and well-trained team providing an excellent standard of person-centred care for our residents. As a Job Title joining our large, diverse team who are proud of the difference we make to our residents you will:

  • Encourage and motivate colleagues to interact with residents, bringing the outside community to life in their discussions whilst going about their everyday activities.
  • Frequently meet individual residents to establish their interests and consider how these can be supported.
  • Ensure our residents’ experience is one where they feel they matter, are understood, listened to and able to make their own decisions.
  • Support the organisation of a variety of external activities or visits to places of interest.
  • Facilitate residents forming their own social groups and special interest groups.

You will promote independence and enhance the quality of life for all residents by assessing individual interests and encouraging these. You will motivate colleagues to engage with residents on a social level to support a fulfilled life experience for the individual.

Prior experience is desirable but not needed, as we will give you all the training you need to be successful in this role.
