• Shifts: 8am-6pm, includes weekend working

Overlooking the peaceful open fields of Burscough’s historical airbase, our luxury 80-bed nursing home was purpose-built to deliver exceptional standards of care. We provide specialist services including complex care, dementia care, palliative care, and general residential and nursing care.

As a Chef at Burscough Manor, you will:

• Preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.
• Assisting with daily kitchen operations including prep, service, and cleaning.
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service and consistent quality.
• Managing stock levels, reducing waste, and helping with ingredient ordering.
• Engaging with residents to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.

What We’re Looking For:

• Has experience working in a professional kitchen (care home experience is a plus).
• Loves cooking fresh, wholesome meals to a high standard.
• Brings a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
• Is organised, detail-oriented, and committed to cleanliness and safety.
• Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification (or is willing to obtain one).
