Salary  - Cook - £12.60 per hour, paid monthly, Kitchen Assistant - £12.21 per hour, paid monthly

Hours  - 0 hours a week, Shifts very between the hours of 8am-6pm

Role Summary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team players to join us as a Cook and Kitchen Assistant at our Westley Court Care Home.

The key responsibilities of our Cook role at Coate Water Care include:

  • Planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost
  • To carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the head chef
  • To ensure that dishes are produced to the required standards of quality and attractiveness before leaving the kitchen
  • Comply with the statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at work
  • Preparation of food for special functions

The key responsibilities of our Kitchen Assistant role at Coate Water Care include:

  • Assisting the chef in the preparation and delivery of food to residents in the care home.
  • Washing up after meals and ensuring that the kitchen cleanliness is maintained to a high standard at all times.
  • Comply with the statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at work
  • Assist in the preparation of food for special functions
