Job summary
Nestled on the edge of the Clwydian Fells, Bod Hyfryd Care Home
offers exceptional person-centred Dementia, Nursing, and Palliative
care in a warm and welcoming environment. Located in the heart of
Flintshire; our Bod Hyfryd Care Home remains an easily accessible home
in the local area.
Not too far from the Welsh seafront and only a short drive from
the A55, or a short walk from the Flint train station, we are ideally
placed to greet the friends and families of our residents. Quality of
life is at the heart of the care delivered here at Bod Hyfryd. Our
experienced team of compassionate professionals are on hand to provide
care, support and comfort in a home-from-home environment. Care at Bod
Hyfryd Care Home is focused on maintaining independence, dignity and
choice. Our friendly and approachable team organise daily activities
tailored to help residents to uphold their life skills, support their
interactions as well as enjoying every day.

Welsh countryside, Bod Hyfryd Care Home provides a calming location
for your loved one to reside in. Our nursing and specialist dementia
care teams offer support 24-hours a day. As such, you know your needs
will never go unsatisfied.
We are seeking to appoint kind, caring and compassionate Care
Assistants to join our team. You will deliver quality of care to
residents in line with agreed Care Plans. You will contribute to the
efficient and effective running of the Care Home. We have a part time
contract available with an hourly rate of £12.60! Shift times are
0800-2000, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
To deliver “hands on” care to residents in a person centred
way.
Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
Model best practice when delivering care.
Assist residents in
all aspects of their physical, emotional and spiritual care needs in
line with agreed care plans.
Contribute to the daily records of
residents.
Contribute to effective teamwork and undertake tasks
delegated to you efficiently and effectively.
Take
responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults
that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and experience required:
Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is
preferable
Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to
achieve this in the first 12 months of
employment
Evidence
of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older
people
Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care
and how they underpin the
delivery of care in a
residential/Nursing setting.
Demonstrate the ability to work in
a team
Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
