They made her 90th birthday very special. We spent mums final day with her, the staff were kind and compassionate at a very sad and difficult time.

My mother has been in Bod Hyfryd for a few months now, in a Nursing EMI bed. The home is clean and the room is spacious. They are very attentive to her needs and ensure she is clean and has prompt pain killers, when needed. The staff are very friendly.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your kind feedback with us, Julia. We are delighted to hear that your mother has settled well into Bod Hyfryd and that you have found the environment both clean and supportive. Our team takes great pride in providing attentive, compassionate care,...
Well done Bod Hyfryd
Many thanks for taking time to review our care home. We are committed to providing responsive and timely care in an environment which is welcoming and bright . We value the relationships which we build with our residents, their families and all visitors to home and welcome feedback.
My mum was cared for at Bod Hyfryd for just over 2 years. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and humerous for all of this time making the experience as good as it possibly could be. The Bod Hyfryd team are truly excellent.
The care she received over that time was exceptional from every level of staff, I would say they are friends not staff. I would reccomend this establishment to anyone.

I am very grateful that my wife can be here as she is completely dependent on their help.
Your kind review is both welcome and encouraging. I was overwhelmed each and every morning & evening by the kind, compassionate care, & encouragement of each & every staff who took care of my uncle. I have watched & experienced all staff connect with my family, as well as the families of others. Each of the staff individuall & as a team are amazing humans; they are truely angels on this planet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! All of your are amazing & inspiring. I will be forever grateful to all of you. x,o,x,o,x,o.
The prospect of putting a loved one into a care home can be quite daunting but since my family member has been in this care home I have found all the staff to be very warm, welcoming and friendly. They are so accommodating to his needs and compassionate with his care. The on site healthcare is exceptional. Honestly I've been so impressed with this home I've considered checking in myself.
Thank you so very much Anne for taking the time to post this review. The prospect of finding good care for a loved one can be very difficult indeed, as the decisions very often have to made at a time of emotional distress. I would like to thank you on behalf of the team at Bod Hyfryd for placing your trust in us and allowing us the privilege of caring for your loved one.
My mum had several illnesses including dementia, so she needed physical and mental health nursing. I asked for a room overlooking fields to remind her of home and she got just that-it was lovely. The home is very welcoming, clean, well decorated, really good food. The staff were happy and plentiful, nothing to much trouble. My mum was cared for with the best patience and dignity by people who truly cared and are a credit to the home manager who has a very dedicated team which she is obviously very proud of. All of you are very special people.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments for the team here at Bod Hyfryd, in particular your mother's care and the support you have received from our team. They'll be so happy to read your feedback, as am I! Thank you again and take care.
During her stay at Bod Hyfryd we were always made to feel very welcome and if we had a query ( which was a rare occasion) staff were approachable and it was dealt with promptly.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We're so pleased to hear your feedback and I look forward to sharing your comments with the team regarding your Grandmothers time with us here at Bod Hyfryd. Thanks again and take care.
My father had 2 weeks respite care before Christmas. The staff at Bod Hyfryd were fantastic, from the management down. Dad was very well cared for and staff aimed to keep Dad's routine from home to the best of their abilities. The staff are so approachable and helpful, there is a real family feel at Bod Hyfryd, whilst maintaining professionalism at all times. We would definitely consider respite here again for Dad with the reassurance that he is well cared for. This was Dad's first time having respite, so it was a big adjustment for him and us. The staff supported us all as a family and we are very grateful to them.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of the care your Father received while staying with us at Bod Hyfryd. It's fantastic to hear your comments and it was a pleasure seeing him interact with our team and residents. Thank you again, and should you look at further respite care in the future, we'd love to help. Take care.
Amazing care for my grandma. The best staff and the best place she could have been. She was very well looked after and the staff were all brilliant with her and us. They made her last couple of months calm and cared for.
Thank you very much for your kind words regarding your grandmother's stay with us, it was a pleasure to care for her. Thank you again and take care.
Bod Hyfryd is different, with caring, actually loving staff towards both residents and their families. I felt that my mum had truly extended her family by being at Bod. Many of the lovely staff attended Mum's funeral recently.
The staff are kind, compassionate and caring. Mum's room was beautiful and homely and she was so well cared for.
As a family, we are indebted to the team at Bod Hyfryd for their wonderful care and I cannot praise them or rate them highly enough.
I feel it would be unfair to single people out because all of you are fabulous. I just wish Mum had been well enough to enjoy your love and care for longer.
Thank you everyone.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We are over the moon with your comments and feel very lucky to have had the pleasure of knowing your lovely mum. I am looking forward to sharing your kind words with my team. Thank you again and take care.
The people are what makes a place special. Always a friendly, happy face greeting me at the door. Nothing was too much trouble for them, always willing to help with anything we needed for Mam. The caretaker, cleaners, laundry people, catering team, carers, nurses and management were all fantastic. Couldn't fault them. Whatever Mam needed or wanted, she got it. The staff were amazing when Mam got poorly, not just look after Mam but helping us, as a family, through it all, very supportive and compassionate. Big thanks to you all.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, what kind words you've given us - I'm looking forward to sharing them with the team. Wishing you and your family a Happy Christmas and all the best for 2025. Thanks again, take care.
My dad went into Bod Hyfryd Care Home for end-of-life care and was there for about twelve weeks then, sadly, passed away, 98 years. The staff and management treated my dad with 100% care and compassion, went above and beyond to make his life as comfortable as they could. He was treated with respect and he touched many hearts. As a family, we were also listened to if we asked for anything to make Dad happy. I got to know a lot of staff and I can honestly say, they should be very proud of themselves for the job they do. I would 100% recommend this care home.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback, Kerry. It was a pleasure to spend time with your lovely dad. I will ensure the team receives your comments, they'll be so happy with your kind words.
Amazing care home. My grandad had been there a few months before passing away and the staff looked after him and cared for him professionally and on a personal level. I cannot thank them enough. Everyone was so kind and polite. My grandad had been in a care home previously but Bod Hyfryd Care Home was, by far, the better of the two. His room was nice and warm and he was lucky enough to have a view over the green fields and trees. The food looked amazing too and my grandad loved his desserts. I will miss my grandad dearly but I will also miss seeing the staff too. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am delighted that you are happy with the care your grandad received with us; he was a wonderful man who we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know during his time with us. I will pass your feedback on to the rest of the team. Thank you again, take care.
My husband was a resident at Bod Hyfryd Care Home at the end of July 2024. I had cared for him at home for as long as I could but as a family, we knew the time had come for him to receive 24-hour nursing care. He was immediately warmly welcomed by the entire caring staff at Bod Hyfryd. His transition from home into care was handled with empathy and tenderness. I cannot find the words to really reflect the deep gratitude I and our children feel, for taking such loving care of him during his short time with them. We will always remember their warmth, professionalism and genuine kindness. Eternal thanks.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such kind words. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and support, so I will pass your feedback on to the team.
What a wonderful experience and privilege it was for all our family to go to such nice, friendly people. We knew my husband would be well looked after and he certainly was. I can't tell you how nice it was to visit, staff are so friendly and helpful, God bless them all, they are a fantastic group. Thanks to all of them.
Thank you for your lovely review of our home, we are delighted to hear how happy you are with everything. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care and support and will share your feedback with the team.
Bod Hyfryd Care Home was the fifth care home Mum was a resident in due to her dementia and us moving to North Wales. We always promised her she would go with us when we moved. Mum was in Bod Hyfryd six and a half years and it was, by far, the best home she had been in. I can’t thank the staff enough for the care shown to her and especially during Covid, which was a tough time for all. For some years, Mum didn’t know me and the last few months she wasn’t awake but the staff always supported me throughout. Just a little sad that there was no one from the care home at her funeral but understand the pressures and staffing problems. Thank you all for your kindness and care.
Thank you for your kind words. It was an absolute privilege to be able to care for your mum and our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
A huge 'thank you' to each and every one of the staff at Bod Hyfryd Care Home for the high level of care and attention that my wife received during her stay. I witnessed on a daily basis the professional and cheerful way that care was administered, along with the high level of cleanliness, food, activities, etc. Thank you all once again.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review of our home. I will pass your feedback on to the team.
