My parents came to The Rhallt in a respite capacity while waiting for a vacancy in an independent living home. From the outset, they received exceptional and well-balanced care that was appropriate to their needs and circumstances. The staff were consistently friendly, understanding, and attentive,
taking time to ensure my parents felt comfortable and respected.
The management demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout, providing clear guidance and strong support in helping to plan my parents' next move. Particular efforts were made to accommodate their specific needs, which made a meaningful difference to their stay.
The home itself had an upbeat, positive atmosphere, which contributed greatly to my parents' overall wellbeing. Communication was effective and reassuring at all stages, keeping us well informed and confident in the care being provided.
Overall, we are very grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and support shown by everyone at The Rhallt.

My mum has been living at Twyford House Residential Care Home since last summer, and the care she has received has been genuinely outstanding. Moving into residential care, and coming to terms with a new disability, has been a huge period of adjustment for her - but the kindness and professionalism
of the staff have made an enormous difference.
I particularly want to praise Renji and Jean, who have gone above and beyond in the care they've given my mum. Both have been unfailingly kind, compassionate and morale-lifting. My mum is comfortable, well looked after, and genuinely looks forward to their chats and jokes - something that has meant more than words can properly express during a very difficult time in her life.
That said, this praise extends to the wider team at Twyford House. So many carers and staff members have helped make my mum's life not just manageable, but warm and humane. The overall standard of care has been excellent, and the dedication shown has made an otherwise daunt
Reply from Jo Hassey, Home Manager at Twyford House Care HomeDear Phillip, Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and thoughtful words about your mum's care at Twyford House. It truly means a great deal to all of us that you've taken the time to share your experience. We understand how significant the transition into residential care can be, especially alongside adjusting to a new disability, and we are so pleased to hear that your mum has felt supported, comfortable, and cared for during this time. Ensuring that residents feel safe, valued, and genuinely at home is at the heart of everything we do. Your special mention of Renji and Jean will be shared with them - they will be absolutely delighted to know the positive impact they've had. It is also wonderful to hear that your mum not only feels well looked after, but continues to enjoy those everyday moments of conversation, humour, and companionship. Kindest regards Jo Hassey Home Manager, Twyford House

We have noticed a vast improvement in the management of the care provided over the last two months. The environment has been improved dramatically and the wellbeing programme offered is varied and comprehensive. Staff appear to have a clearer vision of what is expected of them and the atmosphere is
calm and happy. Carers are respectful and treat our mother with care and dignity which is vitally important to us as a family.

My father was a resident for just over 3 years. During which time he received caring, dignified support from all staff until his passing in mid-March. The care he received during his final weeks was excellent and he was cared for with such love and attention, and we as a family were well looked after
too. The change in management and appointment of a wellbeing co-ordinator saw a noticeable improvement in the refurbishment of the care home and activities for residents. The care home staff were just amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, team.
Reply from Scarlett Ward, Relationships and comms coordinator at Rhiwlas Care HomeThank you so much for sharing these kind words about your father's time with us. We're honoured to have supported him for over three years, and we're truly grateful for your trust during his final weeks. My mother entered Wilmslow Manor without notice for respite care the day after my father was unexpectedly admitted to hospital. At a time of great need for my mother and our family, the home delivered great support and flexibility irrespective of the bank holiday weekend. Since then my mother has been
diagnosed with Alzheimer's and all the staff at the home have been hugely supportive and knowledgeable, playing a great part in my mothers care and transition managing her symptoms. This has been an invaluable comfort to us all knowing my mother is in good and caring hands.
Reply from Darren Molyneux, Home Manager at Wilmslow Manor Care HomeThank you so much for sharing your experience. It means a great deal to our whole team to know that we were able to support your mother - and your family - at such a difficult and unexpected time. We understand how stressful those moments can be, and we're glad we could offer the flexibility and reassurance you needed, even over a bank holiday weekend. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, knowledgeable care, and it's truly heartening to hear that this has brought comfort to you all. Your kind words remind us why we do what we do. Thank you again for taking the time to share them. If there is ever anything more we can do to support your mother or your family, please don't hesitate to let us know.

My father in law was admitted in April, as a family we have been blown away, Colin is on a blended diet, and staff have gone up and beyond, Colin was in hospital for 9 weeks, 7 of them he didn't eat. As they couldn't meet his needs. Colin had only been here a week and the home had picked up that he
was on Thickener which he shouldn't have been. Staff are amazing, kind and caring couldn't ask for more.

My first impression of Upland Manor was amazement. Bright, airy and eyecatching - Not one single member of the team ignored our presence - we were greeted with a smile and a hello - very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble - the reception area is a beautiful hub to take time out, have
a coffee and a breather. Visitors are taken care of as much as the residents. The bedrooms are styled and designed to perfection - its a beautiful place with beautiful attentive people. The care is outstanding - the staff are appreciated and it shows.

As an almost daily visitor I have found there to be a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the home. The core staff are very friendly towards and respectful of my mother, often taking a few minutes to chat to her as they go about their daily tasks. There is a liveliness and openeness
