My Mum has been living at Formby Manor for over four years now, and she is so happy there.
The food is fantastic & there's always plenty of variety, and they regularly update the menu to keep things fresh.
The home itself is always spotless and has such a warm, welcoming feel the moment you walk through the door.
What really sets it apart is the team. The management and staff are always approachable, incredibly kind, and so attentive. They constantly go above and beyond for the residents. They've genuinely become like a second family to my Mum. Knowing she is safe, loved, and so well looked after brings me so much peace of mind.

I really can't recommend Formby Manor highly enough!

We have been delighted with the care and kindness shown to mum in her first six weeks at Upland Manor Care Home. Everyone, has made such efforts to get to know mum, and her family, and she has settled down well. The rooms are really comfortable and the gardens are a special feature and easily accessible. Overall Experience
Moving dad into care wasn't something we wanted to do, but from the moment we walked in, we knew Formby Manor was the only place we would consider.
The management team immediately instilled confidence and have proved exceptional. As a family, we have benefitted from their kindness, compassion and willingness to listen.
Care staff on dad's department are outstanding. They have worked very hard to develop relationships with him, treating him with respect and dignity. His smiles when he sees them say it all. Their welcoming attitude and ability to find humour have made a difficult life transition easier for all of us. The dedication and commitment of the care staff is a reflection of the management team, who very much lead by example.
A happy, friendly environment, very clean, with excellent facilities and delicious food delivered by a first class and caring hospitality team.

Staff have started to feel like an extension of our family, they care for dad as if he was their own.

Overall Experience

Mum has received excellent care all round since moving in a few months ago. The staff are fantastic. For instance, even if they are taking a break outside, they still offer to help getting Mum into the car. And when she had a fall, they brought a nurse from upstairs to check her over and kept me informed about calling the paramedics and progress. They also encourage her to join activities and even helped her create a quiz for the other residents. I highly recommend them.

Overall Experience

My mum was no longer safe in her own home and with sadness we made the decision for her to stay in a home. My mum is now safe, extremely well cared for and mentally stimulated. The care is exceptional. The support staff treat her like one of their own family. She is respected and they are mindful of ensuring her dignity is at the forefront of care. As a family we are so appreciative of the outstanding care.

I've just been blown away by how lovely the staff, facilities, activities are at Upland Manor. We couldn't really ask for more. My mum is settled, happy and content here and we know she is being well looked after with gentle, kind and respectful care.

We could not fault Grappenhall Manor. Dad went in for two weeks while we were away on holiday. The care he received was exceptional! Everyone we came into contact with was welcoming and very friendly! The care home is spotless and decorated to a high standard. Dad was really well cared for and said that he was offered activities every day. He really enjoyed his time there and it was peace of mind for us knowing he was so well cared for. We would definitely recommend. Jessica did the initial home visit and she was excellent and really reassured us that he would be in safe hands. Thank you Grappenhall Manor for excellent care and reassurance.

Amazing staff - can't do enough for my grandma. Always helpful, lets me ask questions and keep me updated. The food looks lovely and my gran eats it without complaints what says it all!!

The building is nice and secure with a warm welcome and cakes!!! I do try to avoid the cakes obviously but they look nice. Couldn't recommend anywhere else for my gran.

Cannot fault the care provided by Bramhall Manor Care Home. All staff from management, reception, clinical leads, carers all could not be more careing, friendly and supportive. Could not find fault in anything what so ever. Delighted that my dear friend was in such a great care home and was cared for so well and at end of life was treated with such care, respect and dignity.

I've been impressed with every single person involved in Mum's care. Reception, carers, nurses, activity leads and house keeping all have time and a warm smile for you. There is a genuine ethos of creating a caring, safe, engaging environment. I am particularly impressed with the quality of leadership - the care home manager's door is always open if you need to talk. Thank you.

In a difficult month for by B-I-L with emergency admissions, hospital discharges etc. I cannot praise the staff at Twyford House highly enough. Despite high-pressure situations, all were handled extremely professionally. The staff were courteous and understanding at all times. When the situation returned to normal, Peter was treated, upon his discharge from hospital like a long lost friend, and nothing was too much trouble. All in all an exceptional established which I believe to be without equal. Thank you.

Yesterday we celebrated my dad's 85th birthday at Grosvenor Manor, and I can't thank the team enough. They reserved and decorated the library with balloons and bunting, and when Dad arrived, his face lit up. Around 14 friends joined us, and the staff surprised him with a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday. It made him feel so special.

Dad isn't always easy to care for, but every member of staff treats him with kindness, patience and genuine compassion. Yesterday showed us that Grosvenor Manor is much more than a care home - it's a place where residents are valued and families and friends are welcomed. Thank you for making Dad's birthday so memorable and for the wonderful care you give him every day. We feel incredibly lucky to have him with you.

My wonderful partner Niall was moved to Ruddington Manor Care Centre for end of life care.
The care and support were exemplary, and they helped make a devastating time more bearable. All the staff who interacted with Niall and myself on the 1st floor were amazing. Their kindness and compassion and pride in their jobs was awesome.

I would have no hesitation to recommend Ruddington Manor, and I will be eternally grateful for the support that Niall and I received.

Mum has now resided at Regency for the last 12 months. I am happy with the care and attention Mum has been receiving. Mum has put on weight which has been such a relief to me. Staff and management provide a caring professional service. Mum is well looked after. Her room is lovely. Nice to see staff interact with the dementia residents. Thankyou Regency.

Mum is looked after extremely well in Bradshaw Manor, she feels safe and enjoys being cared for by all staff; it is lovely seeing the rapport she has with staff. She is consistently well fed and watered, and staff make sure Mum is wearing appropriate clothing Her hygiene is also well-managed, and she enjoys getting her hair and nails done here, and getting her feet done by the chiropodist. Five stars! :)

Twyford House is a very happy care home, where the staff are all very welcoming, Nothing is too much trouble. Mum lived for four very happy years at Grosvenor Manor, during which time her health and overall well being improved significantly due to the care and attention she received from all the staff there. My sister and I can never thank you enough for everything you did for her. Mum felt special and loved.
Sadly in April of this year Mum's cancer progressed but from day one of discharge from hospital back to Grosvenor Manor for Palliative Care, every member of staff treated her with love, understanding and kindness, as well as providing support for both my sister and myself at this very difficult time.
We cannot speak highly enough of the skill, the dedication and the compassion shown by the GP service, the nursing team directly concerned with Mum's end of life care as well as all the care staff who provided constant support for her throughout the days and nights whilst she was ill.

Grosvenor Manor, five stars are not enough. You are exceptional.
