Dad has been resident at the home for nearly 2years now. I have found staff there to be kind, caring and professional. I have regular contact with the home and feel that any concerns are always listened to.
All the teams, including reception, hospitality, housekeeping, admin and carers are friendly and approachable.

Overall Experience

Fairfax Manor Care Home is impressive, modern and professionally managed. There are plenty of other options in Harrogate and having visited most of them, FM stood out due to its managerial 'hands on' presence and the attentive care staff. Three months in, we are all delighted with how well FM looks after the residents and it should be noted that all members of staff smile and say 'hello' to us when we visit, whether they know us or not.

Overall Experience

This is a lovely safe place for your loved ones to be looked after. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I am so glad I moved my husband here after being at another home. My hope is that more activities could be set up for residents on the dementia corridors- perhaps some very simple physical activity. The gardens are lovely and well used.

Overall Experience

Uplands Manor has provided respite care for my 94-year-old friend for the past 2 months. Throughout her stay the staff have provided excellent care and have always been friendly and supportive. The purpose-built facility provides a beautiful environment, enabling her to have a happy, relaxed stay during which she has recovered her health and strength both physically and mentally. Thank you.

Overall Experience

Mum came to Egerton Manor for respite following recent falls & subsequent pelvis fracture. The care mum received was excellent, the carers were very helpful and caring and accomodated mums needs really well. Mum enjoyed the food immensely, the choice was really good and of really good quality. The environment in the home is lovely with lots of activities + facilities such as the hairdresser. Mum left the home after respite care feeling so much better and was just what she needed. I would definitely recommend Egerton Manor as excellent.

Lovely care home, clean, has just been updated, every thing is bright and welcoming, the staff are very helpfull nothing is too much trouble, they take care of the residence with pride and affection and a lot of patience, the food is very good, meat and veg & usualy a pudding, fruit and biscuits for when they have a snack mid morning and, mid afternoon, sometimes its tea & coffee or juice they have alot of variety, and the sing alongs we just love, we alos play games and listen to music or watch a film.

My Mother Margaret arrived in February this year. She was very nervous as were we because she had never been in a care home. From the onset she was treated with respect and dignity from all the staff. The facilities, room, food, entertainment have been excellent. The medical care has been excellent and as a family it's reassuring to know she is looked after. I cannot recommend Upland Manor and its staff highly enough.

Extremely pleased with mum's new care home. All staff and management are very approachable, helpful, willing to assist with any questions, or concerns in general.

Very clean premises throughout, all staff extremely presentable and smart in appearance & polite. Activities are brilliant so many, Mum Loves her new home and has settled in very well. A big thank you to every member of staff!!

My Mum has been living at Formby Manor for over four years now, and she is so happy there.
The food is fantastic & there's always plenty of variety, and they regularly update the menu to keep things fresh.
The home itself is always spotless and has such a warm, welcoming feel the moment you walk through the door.
What really sets it apart is the team. The management and staff are always approachable, incredibly kind, and so attentive. They constantly go above and beyond for the residents. They've genuinely become like a second family to my Mum. Knowing she is safe, loved, and so well looked after brings me so much peace of mind.

I really can't recommend Formby Manor highly enough!

I came to visit my aunt today, I was impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, from reception to carers, catering staff, and management. The facilities were spotless, the food looked apetising and varied. I was so pleased that my aunt had been taken to such a positive place.

Moving dad into care wasn't something we wanted to do, but from the moment we walked in, we knew Formby Manor was the only place we would consider.
The management team immediately instilled confidence and have proved exceptional. As a family, we have benefitted from their kindness, compassion and willingness to listen.
Care staff on dad's department are outstanding. They have worked very hard to develop relationships with him, treating him with respect and dignity. His smiles when he sees them say it all. Their welcoming attitude and ability to find humour have made a difficult life transition easier for all of us. The dedication and commitment of the care staff is a reflection of the management team, who very much lead by example.
A happy, friendly environment, very clean, with excellent facilities and delicious food delivered by a first class and caring hospitality team.

Staff have started to feel like an extension of our family, they care for dad as if he was their own.

Mum has received excellent care all round since moving in a few months ago. The staff are fantastic. For instance, even if they are taking a break outside, they still offer to help getting Mum into the car. And when she had a fall, they brought a nurse from upstairs to check her over and kept me informed about calling the paramedics and progress. They also encourage her to join activities and even helped her create a quiz for the other residents. I highly recommend them.

My mum was no longer safe in her own home and with sadness we made the decision for her to stay in a home. My mum is now safe, extremely well cared for and mentally stimulated. The care is exceptional. The support staff treat her like one of their own family. She is respected and they are mindful of ensuring her dignity is at the forefront of care. As a family we are so appreciative of the outstanding care.

We could not fault Grappenhall Manor. Dad went in for two weeks while we were away on holiday. The care he received was exceptional! Everyone we came into contact with was welcoming and very friendly! The care home is spotless and decorated to a high standard. Dad was really well cared for and said that he was offered activities every day. He really enjoyed his time there and it was peace of mind for us knowing he was so well cared for. We would definitely recommend. Jessica did the initial home visit and she was excellent and really reassured us that he would be in safe hands. Thank you Grappenhall Manor for excellent care and reassurance.

Amazing staff - can't do enough for my grandma. Always helpful, lets me ask questions and keep me updated. The food looks lovely and my gran eats it without complaints what says it all!!

The building is nice and secure with a warm welcome and cakes!!! I do try to avoid the cakes obviously but they look nice. Couldn't recommend anywhere else for my gran.
