As an almost daily visitor I have found there to be a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the home. The core staff are very friendly towards and respectful of my mother, often taking a few minutes to chat to her as they go about their daily tasks. There is a liveliness and openeness
about Cheadle Manor which family and friends are immediately struck by. My mother feels safe, valued as an individual and, if she has any questions or concerns, she is confident that they will be answered or addressed.

Level 2 nursing care, the staff are incredible they have shown my mum and our family so much love & care it felt like an extended family. We are so pleased we chose Bridgewater Manor to look after our precious mum.

Grandma has been made to feel at home and welcome by all members of staff. They cater for every need respectfully whilst maintaining her dignity. The family atmosphere is refreshing and I would recommend Upland Manor to anyone who wants a home from home feel. The staff are fantastic and a real credit.

We're so grateful to have found Upland Manor Care Home for my mother-in-law. From the moment she arrived, the team made her feel genuinely welcome and supported, which made a huge difference during what could have been a very difficult transition.
The staff are kind, patient, and clearly dedicated
to the residents' wellbeing. They've taken the time to get to know her as a person - her preferences, her routines, and the little things that help her feel comfortable and at home. It's reassuring to see her treated with such dignity and warmth.
The home itself is clean, , and thoughtfully maintained, with a lovely atmosphere that feels more like a home than a facility. There are always activities and opportunities for residents to stay engaged, which we really appreciate.
Most importantly, we've already noticed a positive change in her mood and overall wellbeing. Knowing she is safe, cared for, and surrounded by compassionate people gives our whole family peace of mind.

Many chronically-ill folk would prefer to be cared for in their own home, but for various reasons this is impossible, we are grateful, therefore for the people who do undertake this task on our behalf. Bramhall Manor Care Home is one such place where all the staff are welcoming, friendly, courteous,
humorous. They all obviously love and know their residents. It takes enormous dedication to achieve such a high standard of love and care.

My mum is happily now living in the care home .she went in on respite care and was so well looked after she has decided to make it her new home . Upland is a wonderful home with lovely staff and the young lady who is in charge of well being I think her name bekka is such a lovely caring person my mum
loves her .The management team are so approachable and we're very accommodating when we asked for a few changes too mums room
As a family we are so happy my mum now feels safe and cared for by the upland team
Oh forgot to mention the home is like a five star hotel

All the staff, whatever their roles, are cheerful, welcoming and supportive, not only towards the residents but to relatvies and friends, too. This creates a relaxed, family atmosphere. My husband, a resident, says that he likes to sit in the lounge because everyone helps each other.
Everywhere always
smells fresh and I'm impressed by the level of cleanliness. Food and drinks are plentiful and nicely presented. Should I need a care home in the future Bridgewater Manor is the one for me.

Uplands Manor is a fabulous home, it's decorated to the standard of a 5* hotel, whilst still having a warm & welcoming feel.
The staff are exceptionally professional & friendly, nothing is too much trouble & they have all made my mum feel comfortable, safe & happy.
They encourage independent living
and offer lots of social activities to encourage engagement which has kept mum busy & entertained. She always has a story to tell us. My Mum went to Uplands manor for two weeks respite & is now a permanent happy resident.
We could not be happier that she is settled, safe & enjoying her best life.
I can't recommend this care home highly enough & feel very lucky to have found this amazing home.

We arrived at Bramhall Manor in a panice and litterally felt a sence of calm wrap round us. Every single person who we have come into contact with has helped our experience be the positive one it has been. All staff at Upland Manor are caring and supportive to mum, from cleaning, catering, admin, nursing, and Becca who is excellent at engaging the residents in activities. Management are very approachable and listen to residents and families concerns and are supportive. Beautiful surroundings.

Upland Manor has been a breath of fresh air when I think back to my previous experiences of care homes. It has been a wonderful experience since we first enquired and whilst the facilities are incredible, the staff are what make it exceptional. I wouldn't want my grandma anywhere else!

I wanted to share some positive feedback following a recent conversation with the DOLS assessor.


During the discussion, I spoke about how amazing the carers have been with my great auntie. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care have made such a difference, and it is very reassuring for our

family.


The assessor also commented that Bridgewater Manor is one of the best care homes she visits. She mentioned that she particularly enjoys her visits because any member of staff she speaks to is able to confidently talk about residents and demonstrate a clear understanding of their needs.


This reflects a very high standard of care and teamwork, and I felt it was important to pass this on.

Positives
I like that I feel safe and trusted when I come here. The staff are excellent and really care and are clearly managed well. When we have had a review meeting with management, actions were discussed and taken very quickly.
Negatives
Communication needs to improve especially when from the
doctor re medication/tests etc. Please can we improve the food variety for John - ie not porridge every morning and more variety of desserts/puddings.

My dad has been living at Bridgewater Manor for around nine months now. He was struggling at home and we were finding it impossible to support him properly due to the distance between us. Since dad has been here, we have noticed an enormous improvement in his health and his general wellbeing. He has
developed a fabulous rapport with the staff, and he likes and trusts them. He talks about how kind, caring and helpful they all are. All staff are extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is safe, warm and runs smoothly and efficiently. We couldn't be happier with the care Dad is receiving at this wonderful home.
