I guess no one would choose to be in a care home, but Egerton Manor is nothing like a care home - it's more like a 5 star hotel. My dad has been living at Bridgewater Manor for around nine months now. He was struggling at home and we were finding it impossible to support him properly due to the distance between us. Since dad has been here, we have noticed an enormous improvement in his health and his general wellbeing. He has
developed a fabulous rapport with the staff, and he likes and trusts them. He talks about how kind, caring and helpful they all are. All staff are extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is safe, warm and runs smoothly and efficiently. We couldn't be happier with the care Dad is receiving at this wonderful home.

My mum came for 2 weeks respite before christmas - now permanent. She has settled really well and is very much enjoying the activities. The staff are very patient and caring. The food is varied and delicious - good that there is a choice. Her room is always clean. My one niggle is communication - i.e
to the family. This is the only thing that could be improved.

My mum has settled really well here at Egerton Manor. All staff have been very helpful and accommodating in ensuring she feels at home, from her room, food choices and eating with the other residents. Her confidence and overall wellbeing has massively improved. It has been wonderful visiting my mum
and seeing her so happy and also being able to just be her daughter again, sitting and chatting. We are both very happy.

Egerton Manor is a beautiful care home throughout with fantastic facilities which are very well maintained. More importantly though the staff are fabulous, so caring, hardworking and genuinely concerned for the needs of all the residents. It's so reassuring to know my mum is being looked after to
such a high standard. The entertainment team are brilliant too and everyday arrange fun, inclusive and varied activities and outings. Mealtimes are such a treat, beautifully set dining tables, restaurant quality meals and lovely staff members looking after everyone. I thoroughly enjoy visiting my mum and seeing her so happy and having gained so many lovely new friends, they're like one big happy family.

This is truly one of the most amazing places, and we feel so fortunate that our 94-year-old father is here. Every member of staff is incredible-so caring, compassionate, and always happy to stop for a chat.


The first carer we met was Adele, and from that moment we knew we had made the right decision.

She was warm, welcoming, and absolutely wonderful with our dad. As we gradually met the rest of the team, we were overwhelmed by the kindness and dedication shown by everyone.

We need not have worried! He's settled in a treat and made friends with other residents. Staff are great and the facilities are fab. His favourite parts are the food and the company! oh! and that charlie the dog can visit!

Outstanding care home. We were very concerned about mum going into a care home, but have been so pleased with how well she's fitted in. My father was always treated with respect and kindness from all of the staff who came into contact with him. As did our family visiting.
The care home and its grounds were always immaculate, always clean and in good working order.
All aspects of my father's care were taken care of, before we were
even aware of them.
The care delivered at Bridgewater Manor exceeded our expectations.

My parents moved into Uplands Manor last month and we are very impressed with the kindness of the staff and the care shown to our parents. From the first day we visited we were very impressed with the setting which is like a five star hotel! Nothing is too much trouble and we are now able to relax
knowing they are in safe hands. Mum loves the food and she is so much happier since moving in. I would highly recommend Uplands Manor.
