My mum has now been with you for 12 months and always looks clean and cared for. This is an immense relief to know that she is safe and importantly, treated with respect. She says the food is good and the home is always warm. There are three/four staff on my mum's floor who do an excellent job of caring
for my mum. We love the fact that they all know her name and her needs.
I do feel that the signing in/out procedure needs simplifying.

Excellent premises with welcoming and friendly admin and reception staff. The coffee bar area is a great place for residents and relatives to meet. There is a good stimulating programme of activities for residents who feel able to participate, and regular outside trips are offered. Catering staff are
always receptive to constructive comments, and the food is of a good standard. Residents with special dietary needs are catered for. The bedrooms are en-suite and cleaned every day. Residents have the option of a shared lounge or the privacy of their own room. All the cleaning, laundry and maintenance staff are approachable, friendly, and helpful. The carers go above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents and maintain a cheerful and friendly approach in the face of any challenges. The needs of relatives are also met with a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to answer all questions and find a solution if one isn't immediately apparent. Overall, if care is needed this is a good place to live.

After a short illness my friend moved into Belvedere Manor, the staff and especially the new manager have been outstanding with supporting my friend with moving into care while also supporting me. The bedroom is a lovely ground floor room and is spotlessly clean.
Moving a loved one into a care home
is an extremely hard and difficult decision but this has been made much easier with the support of the manager. They have been outstanding. I highly recommend Belvedere Manor, thank you for all you do!
Reply from Alexandra Fairhurst, Commissioning Manager at Belvedere ManorThank you so much for your lovely 5-star review. We're delighted to hear that your friend has settled in well and that our team - especially the manager - has been able to support you both through such a difficult transition. Knowing that the room, care and overall experience have brought comfort means a great deal to us. Your recommendation is truly appreciated, and we're grateful for your kind words.

My mother has been a resident for three years. Since Belvedere has been taken over by Lovett the overall standard has dropped. The lovely helpfull staff are one by one leaving. The regular staff and carers are being replaced. we are paying more cost ie £100 per week with standards decreasing. The staff
are not happy, new carers appearing all the time, so generally if I was looking for a home for my mother now, I would probably consider other options. Staff need to be listened too, so if they are happy then residents are too.

Mum had to go into care after being given end of life. She had been independent, 98, in her own apartment. As a family it was so hard for us to let her go intoThe Hamptons. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel part of The Hamptons Family.
Nothing was too much trouble. If we had any questions the staff and nursing staff were always on hand to talk to us and give us time.
Mum was included in everything. They have a better social calendar the I have. she loved the singers, the knit and natter and having her nails and hair done.
When Mum was finally ready to go to sleep she was treated with care and dignity. the Nursing staff were so caring and considerate they made her journey the best I could have imagined for her. We will be forever grateful.
I wish I could mention all the staff but there are so many who cared for her. Rick was with us the last days. Amazing.
thank you all of you.

Thank you so much, the team will be so pleased that you found all aspects of the Home to be in excess of your care expectations. It was a privilege to know you all during your time with us

Paula - The entertainment leader is excellent, happy, friendly and encouraging.
Some of the staff are permanent but the majority seem to be bank staff or temps. Always on their phones.
The permanent members of staff are welcoming, caring, empathetic & kind but very understaffed!!

Our father recently passed away in Belvedere Manor and whilst sad, the staff provided great comfort to my family, but most of all our father. They made sure he was treated with the utmost dignity and respect throughout. We cannot thank the staff enough.

My family want to thank the staff at the Hamptons for all the care currently being given to my husband who has Parkinson's, whilst he recovers from a broken arm and shoulder.
The feeling of safety and reassurance has been invaluable to us all, a port in a storm.
No matter how difficult their working
day or night has been, the staff are incredibly cheery with laughter echoing through the corridors.
It can't be easy keeping residents entertained or occupied but every effort is made in the timetable each week.
Even if someone doesn't want to join in, it's good to know activities are there if they want them.
You may not receive praise every day, but please know every kindness is noted and gratefully received, particularly when times can be difficult for a family.
Keep doing what you're doing, it's so very much appreciated.

Our mum resided at The Hamptons for only a short time and was cared for by the team until the end of her life. very difficult time. Thank you for everything.

My mother has been a resident of The Hamptons for 18 months now. She has Parkinson's with Dementia and is completely bed ridden now. My wife and I visit her at least once a week at different times and cannot speak highly enough about the care she receives from all the staff in the Dementia wing. My
mother has recently been assessed for full CHC care and I cannot speak highly enough about Sue and Lauren who participated in the assessment and were extremely professional as well as caring throughout. I think everyone at the Hamptons do a fantastic job.
Reply from Sara Allton, Home Manager at The Hamptons Care HomeDear SimonThank you so much for your appreciation of the staff. The staff team particularly those you highlighted will be thrilled to hear what a difference they make and this will be shared with them at the earliest opportunity.Regards & thanks Sara

My father moved into the Lytham care home shortly after my Mother's passing on Christmas Day
I live in Australia and I am his only close relative so you can imagine the stress and turmoil my father experienced
I managed to arrive in Lytham within 48 hours and so the difficult journey began for Dad
He
didn't want to leave home but was incapable of cooking shopping and usual daily tasks
So after traumatic discussions we decided a Care home was the only answer so I had to find one
initially my Dad was in a good home suggested by a couple of neighbours however after about a week I decided I wasn't happy with the care and attitude of some staff members
I moved him to the Hamptons which we now call his hotel and difference in the two homes is dramatic
My Dad is extremely happy at the Hamptons Lytham because he has a beautiful room excellent food and wonderful daily care and medical attention
I believe the quality of any business comes from the top
Sara the manager is outstanding

My dad had a very comfortable 16 month stay at The Hamptons. When he came (March 2024) he didn't know what to expect but the staff made him feel valued & "at home" from day one. That was helped by the facilities - from the very well appointed rooms to the bright and welcoming communal areas and the
spacious dining area. My dad very much enjoyed the company and companionship with other residents when taking meals. We recently decided to move him to a new care home to be closer to me - but time will tell if the new home's staff will be quite as caring, efficient and diligent as they were at the Hamptons. This is a nice forum in which to say "thanks so much" to the staff and management at the Hamptons.in short -i It's a lovely care home.

Belvedere care staff are dedicated + caring. The manager responds quickly to any concerns. My father has been very poorly recently + the team worked hard to get him the care he needed + shown genuine concern for him. However, too many agency staff are used at weekends. They don't know the residents
or their specific needs. The mobile phone carried by the senior doesn't work once they leave the office, therefore its impossible to get updates on relatives. There are no staff available at weekends to let relatives in or out, so you have to be prepared to wait.
Reply from Gillian Towers, Home Manager at Belvedere ManorThank you for you kind comments, it is lovely to hear that staff are kind and caring. I will ensure these are shared with the staff. We continue to recruit new staff with the assistance of the central support recruitment team with new staff currently onboarding. The issue with phone system has been reported to our IT department and we are awaiting replacement mobile handsets for the mobile phones. Staff do endeavour to answer the phone and the door as quickly as possible and we do apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

The staff have handled Mum's move into care with the utmost professionalism and compassion, spending time reassuring both her and our family about even the smallest of details. Nobody likes having to put a loved one into care, but dementia means that this is unavoidable in this case. The facilities
