My father moved into the Hamptons May 22 and passed away there on June 10. For those 20 days The Hamptons was my father's world and mine and my mother's too. It was a very hard time for us all and the staff made it as comfort and manageable for us as they possibly could. Everyone was wonderful and as
I said to them I will remember them and think very fondly of them all forever – long, long after they have forgotten us. My mother and I were so very grateful - they cared for and treated my father as if he'd been there for years.

My mum stayed at The Hamptons for 1 month recovering from a fracture and the care and help she received has been amazing. Such friendly and caring staff, who had the time to keep checking on Mum and ensuring she was ok. This has not been our experience of other care homes. This, plus a genuine interest
shown by all the staff in getting Mum back on her feet, merits an excellent review. Cannot fault Mum's room and all the communal areas which helped to make our visits to Mum very pleasant.

I am really pleased with this care home, staff are friendly and readily available, the home itself doesn't look like a care home the facilities and surroundings are fantastic, my dad tells me that the food is excellent and he enjoys his full English breakfast every morning, I am pleased that he settled
in so well. I would like to thank all the staff for welcoming my dad into his new home, I would like to make a special mention to Hannah the care home manager for her help and reassurance, I can not praise her enough she made a difficult process easy for both me and my dad. I would like to recommend anyone looking for care for a loved one go take a look at Belvedere manor you won't be disappointed.
Reply from Lynette Elms, Regional Manager at Belvedere ManorThank you very much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We truly appreciate your feedback, and we are delighted to hear that your dad is settling in so well at the home.

Thank you so much for the care you showed to my mum and dad. I always remember coming for the first time and thinking this is like an hotel, not the idea I had of a care home. You made It so easy to bring my parents into care, I dreading the initial move. We as a family could not have given the same
support as you did. It meant a great deal to our family knowing they were in such safe and caring hands.
We would like to thank Leanne and Paula who do an amazing job entertaining everyone, I think we'll be coming up for the special days they organise.
We honestly can't fault any of the carers you have, after taking to all the friends and family, who visited my mum and dad everyone says the same thing, how friendly and caring each one is. The cleaning staff are amazing to keep it looking as an hotel and the food looked and tasted unbelievably good.
I would always recommend Belvedere Manor to anyone who asks.
Thanks again... you are all amazing

Our mother was admitted on the 18th December, on end of life care.
She stayed with us until the 2nd March when she passed peacefully.
The care and attention from the whole team in the time she was there was nothing short of exceptional. We thank everyone for everything they did for her and us when
we visited, which was very frequently.

My mum has now been with you for 12 months and always looks clean and cared for. This is an immense relief to know that she is safe and importantly, treated with respect. She says the food is good and the home is always warm. There are three/four staff on my mum's floor who do an excellent job of caring
for my mum. We love the fact that they all know her name and her needs.
I do feel that the signing in/out procedure needs simplifying.

Excellent premises with welcoming and friendly admin and reception staff. The coffee bar area is a great place for residents and relatives to meet. There is a good stimulating programme of activities for residents who feel able to participate, and regular outside trips are offered. Catering staff are
always receptive to constructive comments, and the food is of a good standard. Residents with special dietary needs are catered for. The bedrooms are en-suite and cleaned every day. Residents have the option of a shared lounge or the privacy of their own room. All the cleaning, laundry and maintenance staff are approachable, friendly, and helpful. The carers go above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents and maintain a cheerful and friendly approach in the face of any challenges. The needs of relatives are also met with a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to answer all questions and find a solution if one isn't immediately apparent. Overall, if care is needed this is a good place to live.

After a short illness my friend moved into Belvedere Manor, the staff and especially the new manager have been outstanding with supporting my friend with moving into care while also supporting me. The bedroom is a lovely ground floor room and is spotlessly clean.
Moving a loved one into a care home
is an extremely hard and difficult decision but this has been made much easier with the support of the manager. They have been outstanding. I highly recommend Belvedere Manor, thank you for all you do!
Reply from Alexandra Fairhurst, Commissioning Manager at Belvedere ManorThank you so much for your lovely 5-star review. We're delighted to hear that your friend has settled in well and that our team - especially the manager - has been able to support you both through such a difficult transition. Knowing that the room, care and overall experience have brought comfort means a great deal to us. Your recommendation is truly appreciated, and we're grateful for your kind words.

My mother has been a resident for three years. Since Belvedere has been taken over by Lovett the overall standard has dropped. The lovely helpfull staff are one by one leaving. The regular staff and carers are being replaced. we are paying more cost ie £100 per week with standards decreasing. The staff
are not happy, new carers appearing all the time, so generally if I was looking for a home for my mother now, I would probably consider other options. Staff need to be listened too, so if they are happy then residents are too.

Mum had to go into care after being given end of life. She had been independent, 98, in her own apartment. As a family it was so hard for us to let her go intoThe Hamptons. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel part of The Hamptons Family.
Nothing was too much trouble. If we had any questions the staff and nursing staff were always on hand to talk to us and give us time.
Mum was included in everything. They have a better social calendar the I have. she loved the singers, the knit and natter and having her nails and hair done.
When Mum was finally ready to go to sleep she was treated with care and dignity. the Nursing staff were so caring and considerate they made her journey the best I could have imagined for her. We will be forever grateful.
I wish I could mention all the staff but there are so many who cared for her. Rick was with us the last days. Amazing.
thank you all of you.

Paula - The entertainment leader is excellent, happy, friendly and encouraging.
Some of the staff are permanent but the majority seem to be bank staff or temps. Always on their phones.
