My mum is a resident & has been since August 2025. For mother's day this year myself & her granddaughters had Sunday Lunch with her. The food was exceptional but most of all it's the compassion & empathy that the staff show us at such a difficult time. Knowing that mum is being looked after
and cared for in the way she is makes a difficult time easier to bare.

Grosvenor Manor has allowed my mum to have a full life whilst living with dementia. She has weekly trips to the on-site Hairdresser, at a proper salon. In addition she attends Sunday services, sings hymns, carols and pop songs. Has a bingo afternoon and does small garden projects such as planting up
bulbs in a pot; as well as baking and trips out! In fact the list of things to do is endless. She can choose to take part or not and family are always welcome to join in the fun. All of this is while surrounded by amazing care, housekeeping, hospitality and administrative staff. Mum has in a couple of years built such good relationships with all of the staff that she sees them as her family and friends.
Reply from Grosvenor Manor Care Centre Hughes, Home Manager at Grosvenor Manor Care HomeThank you for your review. It is pleasing to see that your mum is engaging in all the activities that are on offer.

As well as providing excellent daily care Grosvenor Manor always ensures that significant moments are celebrated in an extra special way. My wife has dementia and for her 82nd birthday Grosvenor Manor arranged a room for my wife and her guests to have afternoon tea together. They baked a delicious birthday
cake that was beautifully decorated. My wife invited four of her closest friends, as well as family to the event. I brought along a couple of bottles of champagne and we had a delightful afternoon tea. It was such a lovely day.

My deteriorating health meant my mother had to go into a care home. What a wonderful surprise! The lovely, caring atmosphere in Grosvenor Manor was evident from the minute I walked in (without a prior appointment). The care my mother receives has been second to none. She is well-cared for safe and warm,
but most of all, she is happy and stimulated. I do not know what more the staff could do to look after the residents. They are warm and caring, and always treat residents with the utmost dignity and respect. They don't need to be asked to help, they watch all be. Nothing is too much trouble. The safety and security aspect could not be better. The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. All the rooms are given a homely feel with residents own treasures. The lady in charge is unbelievably caring. Her kindness and wisdom are second to none. She makes you feel as important as you relative. What more can I add? Grosvenor Manor should be a winner for all they do. Many thanks to you all who work there.

Due to having recent surgery my husband who has mild dementia went into Grappenhall Manor for respite care for 1 month. He'd never been in respite before and to my relief settled in nicely. The care and attention was second to none and the meals were excellent. I even ate there myself for Sunday lunch.
But most of all the staff were wonderful. They were all very attentive and it helped in settle in nicely. Even when I would ring in the evening to ask if a certain channel could be put on TV. They did this straight away. I would definately recommend Grappenhall Manor. Thank you to everyone.

My mum came to Grappenhall Manor on a D2A from hospital in October 2023 and remained there until she passed recently. Having had a stroke many years previously, she had limited mobility and difficulty with verbal communication but the staff were so incredibly kind and patient spending the time to understand
her, but also helping her to integrate with other residents in the home which was so important as my mum was a very sociable person and loved the interaction with both staff and residents.
The place itself is more like a 5 star hotel than a care home. It's spacious and beautifully decorated with lovely gardens to relax in during the warmer months. There are well organised daily activities, the food is amazing and every member of staff is so kind and caring. I honestly can't have wished for a better place for my mum to spend her last two years, she LOVED every minute, as did I!

My dad came in for respite whilst my mum went for an operation. He was in for almost 4 weeks. He was made to feel he was part of one big family. The staff went above and beyond to help him and us. The asked about how mum was recovering which helped him to feel connected. He ate and slept extremely well
and all visitors including his dog were made to feel very welcome. A huge thanks to all the Grappenhall Manor.

Mum has been a resident at Wilmslow Manor for 3 weeks. She moved from another care home that couldn't meet her needs. She is a resident on the dementia floor. This transition could have been difficult for mum and my brother and myself were initially worried she may not settle. This has not been the
case thanks to the amazing staff and carers who have supported her and our family. Mum is coeliac and her dietary requirements have been fully supported. She is happy, less anxious and we would highly recommend Wilmslow Manor.

My 80 year old mum was admitted for nursing care as she had brain cancer. As her condition changed, the whole team were so very supportive and adapted her care to ensure that my mum was very well looked after. As mum became non-verbal, the team took on the challenging situation with great empathy and
understanding. Nothing was too much trouble.
I feel very comforted to know that my mum's final time of life was that she was looked after by such a capable group of amazing people, and to me, that is priceless.

My Mum and Dad became residents of Wilmslow Manor in April 2024 when Mum's Vascular dementia became too much for Dad to manage at home. When Mum died in May 2024 Dad remained as a resident. This was a very difficult time for him after 73 years with Mum and his grief at times was very difficult for
him to cope with. The staff gave Dad the time, care and love he needed.
In October Dad's health declined and he became less mobile spending more time in bed and requiring more care from the staff. I stayed with Dad the last week of October until his very peaceful death. The quality of the care and attention he received from staff cannot be questioned. The dignity given to him was outstanding. The love and care that I and my family received was incredible. I cannot thank the staff enough for making his last days so comfortable and peaceful and for continuing to care for him as the gentleman he was. I know he made an impact on the staff just as they did on our family. Thank you.
Reply from Darren Molyneux, Home Manager at Wilmslow Manor Care HomeThank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt account of your parents time at Wilmslow Manor. It means a great deal to our entire team to know that we were able to support your family through such an emotional and significant chapter.
Your dads strength, love for your mum, and the bond they shared for 73 years touched everyone here. It was a privilege to care for him, and were deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us during both his and your mums final months. Knowing that he felt comfortable, dignified, and at peace is exactly what we strive for, and your words affirm the dedication of our staff.
Were also truly moved that you and your family felt supported and cared for throughout. Your dad made a lasting impression on those who looked after him, and he will be remembered with great fondness.
Thank you again for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. We send our warmest wishes to you and your family.
