I’m Charlotte Sherrocks, and I have worked in the health and social care since leaving education, qualifying as a registered nurse in 1996. My N.H.S. ward experience was gained in general medicine, trauma and orthopaedics. I also hold a BSc Health and Social Care degree, mentoring, management and clinical qualifications.
I left the N.H.S. and joined the private sector, where I have undertaken roles including that of General Manager, Clinical Services Manager, Clinical Development Nurse and Regional Support Manager. These opportunities have given me a wealth of knowledge and vast experience in the care of older adults. My passion is to deliver high-quality standards and a person-centred, individualised approach to care.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the cinema and going to the gym.
I joined Grappenhall Manor when we first opened our doors in 2023, beginning my journey here as a Registered Staff Nurse. Since then, I have been delighted to have accepted the position of Deputy Manager, working alongside our Home Manager, Charlotte.
I am genuinely grateful for the support I’ve received from our residents, colleagues, relatives, and the wider Lovett community throughout this journey.
My career in health and social care began in 2013 as a Care Assistant. I later qualified as a Registered Adult Nurse in 2020, graduating from the University of Salford. Since then, the majority of my post-registration experience has been within nursing home settings - an environment where my commitment and enthusiasm continue to grow.
Our team at Grappenhall Manor is exceptional, and I am proud of the compassionate care and consistent support we provide to our residents, their families, and one another.
Anna is a valued member of our team here at Grappenhall Manor. Like everyone at Lovett Care, they're committed to helping us create a caring community where everyone can thrive. Their role contributes to the warm, person-centred approach that sits at the heart of everything we do.
I have worked as a well-being coordinator for a number of years and loved every second. At university, I studied dance, and for one of my modules, I looked at how dance can benefit people living with dementia. That was when I knew what career path I wanted to follow. I want to make sure everyone is able to have fun and look forward to what is on our wellbeing programme.
Outside of work, I am a member of a dance crew where we have gone to competitions around Europe and are currently working on getting a place in Worlds in America. I also enjoy running and recently completed the Great North Run, which I'm super proud of. Grappenhall Manor is a lovely place to work, and I can't wait to spend many more years here.
