My husband was at Adel Manor for three months on end of life care. The whole place is beautifully kept and right from the first time we visited the staff were welcoming and made us feel at home. The place has a very calm atmosphere and it was a pleasure just to be able to relax in the lounge and read a book at times. One of the reasons we looked at Adel Manor was the size of the bedrooms. They are a really good size and could easily accommodate the many visitors my husband had. He felt safe and well cared for and staff were very alert to his changing needs. I had complete confidence in leaving him in their care. If we had any concerns they were always addressed promptly and the local palliative care team were consulted regularly. My thanks especially go to Bruno, Ivona and all the nursing and hospitality staff. Also thanks to the whole team for enabling us to have a party and to put on music events. I feel so lucky that there was a vacancy when we needed it.

I cannot thank the team enough for the care they gave Mum and I would highly recommend Adel Manor.

My husband Bill has been a resident at Adel Manor Care Home for 21 months now. My family and I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and help, which they have been giving him over these months, to make his life as easy and comfortable as possible. We also thank the chef for his varied menu and also the housekeeping their prompt action on keeping his room clean and tidy. My personal thanks to management and carers for their kindness and help to me at this trying time. You are very lucky to have such kind and dedicated staff. On behalf of all residents, I wish them well in the future.

My dad loved all of the activities especially the musical events and interacting with the nursery school children. We spent many happy times in the garden and at various celebrations throughout the year.

The first thing I noticed is the pleasant surroundings and nice vibe as soon as arriving on premises. Absolutely no off-putting smell as is often in care homes! The staff are all very friendly and everyone knows my mum by name and have positive words to share. My mum prefers female carers to help her with hygiene issues and they are absolutely respectful of it and gentle and patient. Well done to the very sweet Lisa, to Abu, Ivona, Bruno and everyone and of course Marsha for staying on top of everything, for thinking of all the details that make for a cosy, homely residence and nursing home. I can be in my home on other side of world knowing my mum is safe and well looked after.

I moved into Adel Manor Care Centre just over 3 months ago. Right from the outset, I was treated with dignity and respect. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who are positive, cheerful and extremely helpful. My room is always kept clean; the meals are always tasty, with plenty of choice; activities are plentiful; and the gardens are a delight. Without exception, the care staff have gone out of their way to become familiar with my needs and preferences. The nursing staff are extremely committed, so there is no need for any anxiety on my part. Without doubt, Adel Manor is an extremely well-run care centre and my thanks go to all the staff and, in particular, to the manager, Marsha, who keeps all the balls in the air!

My wife has advanced Alzheimer's and has been at Guiseley Manor for nearly two years. The care has been excellent, the staff all helpful and friendly so it has been a good experience for both of us. I always feel welcome as an almost daily visitor and any worries are soon sorted out.

The care was exceptional. We loved the calm, peaceful atmosphere, and the attention that was given to each resident was wonderful to see. My sister-in-law has improved remarkably since returning from the hospital following a stroke. The staff were fully aware of her care plan and were clearly helping her to regain her skills. The lunch was well presented and tasty. We are so grateful to all the staff for their dedication and exceptional skills.

Following a fall at home mum needed to move into a care home urgently. Adel and the staff at the manor guiseley have been amazing, we managed to get mum in and settled within a few days. The care she is receiving is wonderful. The staff are always happy to help and always smiling. Neri seems to always be on hand to talk through mum's care and very understanding of a tricky situation. The home is spotless, bright, beautifully decorated, on par with a nice hotel. I would recommend the home for nursing care.

Mum described every member of staff as friendly, kind, supportive and caring. Her room was beautiful - equipped with all she needed for a very comfortable stay. Mum thoroughly enjoyed all the meals and threw herself wholeheartedly into the full and varied range of activities - something she would not have done without genuine, caring encouragement.

My uncle has been here for a while now and I'm honestly very happy with how things are going. He's having a wonderful time and always seems settled and content when we visit. The staff are friendly, caring and clearly take great pride in what they do. I feel that nothing we ask is too much for the staff & they are always responsive to us. The food is always tasty, well presented and he really enjoys it. There is a good variety of meals. Overall, it's a lovely place with a great atmosphere, and we're very grateful for the care and attention he receives.

Moving Mum out of her home into a care home was one of the hardest decisions to make. Guiseley Manor made that transition so much less stressful for me and for Dad. From the initial meeting at our home with the Care Home Manager and Deputy Manager to the day to day activities managed by the Wellbeing team we know Mum is cared for and is more settled than we could have ever imagined. The one to one care she recieves due to the staff to resident ratio and consideration for her individuality makes her feel safe and at home.

The home is elegantly decorated; the food served is varied and individually tailored to each resident where required and the activities are put together with thought and attention to detail. The home is accesible 7 days a week and visiting is made pleasuarble by the staff that welcome you at reception, provide tea, coffee and cake in the downstairs 'cafe', and the wellbeing team that come over for a chat to discuss day trips out and discuss any needs on the day.

Guiseley Manor is a lovely home with beautiful environment recently enhanced by a cafe area and gardens. Residents are assisted physically, mentally and socially by very caring staff who are compassionate and empathetic to their needs. They always treat people with kindness, dignity and respect and empower them to be as independent as possible.

The staff are fantastic, they have organised appointments for eye care, hearing and dental needs. When asked, Mum said she would rather be in Adel Manor than at home alone. This gives so much peace of mind for us. Asked if she had any complaints, she said "the food sometimes", otherwise, no complaints at all.

Throughout the period of her stay, we were always very pleased with the level of care she received in all aspects of the service provided.

We cannot express enough thanks for those who cared for our precious dad at Adel Manor. We were treated with kindness and compassion from our first meeting with Keegan who immediately understood our needs and most important, those of our dad. The care was exceptional and Adel Manor itself is a beautiful place. Our dad was settled and we had confidence in all those looking after him for the short time he was there. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed us the day we lost dad, we will never forget it.
