I’ve worked as a nurse for over 40 years in a variety of roles I thoroughly enjoy working in care homes. As a nurse, you can build relationships with the people you’re caring for and their families in a way that’s just not possible in a hospital setting where people come and go. I love the fact that we’re making a big difference to people’s lives and we get to see the evidence of that. It’s a privilege to be working for an excellent provider in Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, New Care. I’m passionate about delivering high quality care to each resident and supporting the staff in their careers within the health care sector.
I am responsible and accountable for the management of the clinical area in the home. Establishing the timely provision of care by ensuring that effective supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care is done to a high standard. Ensure that the home’s policies and procedures are followed, in accordance with relevant legislation, to meet residents’ needs in a person-centered way. Assisting Home Manager with day-to-day management of the home ensuring New Care’s continued compliance with relevant legislation. I always have had a passion for delivering high standards of care. For my new role the main aspirations are centered around skill enhancement and constant growth to deliver the very best person-centered care. I am ready for new challenges and would like to improve my management skills in order to achieve my full potential. In the future I see myself taking on more challenges at a higher level of leadership. Evolve my skills in a challenging environment, work within a team, and provide efficient solutions.
I have 35 years experience of working in care. My background is nursing care working in Hospitals and also Nursing homes. I worked as a Clinical Support worker for the NHS and following this I managed a Complex care unit where I also trained and taught staff how to care for tracheostomy and ventilator care with spinal injuries and acute brain injuries. I have worked for New Care at Grosvenor Manor since 2020 and I can honestly say this is where I have learnt and have seen patient centred care that is given to the highest of standards. I am excited to now be able to join the management team at Grosvenor Manor as Head of Care to support our Home Manager, our excellent wellbeing team and our dedicated teams of care staff and Team Leaders. I am proud to be the Head of Care at Grosvenor Manor and to now be part of the management structure of such an amazing team. I am a caring and compassionate hardworking person and totally dedicated to providing excellent care to all residents.
I’m Lisa Forth I Joined our Grosvenor Family in April 2018. I facilitate our Wellbeing Programme to ensure our Residents have a Person Centred fulling & fun time at Grosvenor Manor. I’m married to Stephen who is an amazing support to me, we have four beautiful Granddaughters of whom we adore. I Feel Grosvenor Manor is my extended family, and family is very important to me.
