Welcome to Grosvenor Manor; a lovely and luxurious care home located in the historic city of Chester. Grosvenor Manor is a purpose-built 81 bed ‘new generation’ care facility that has been expertly designed to meet all current CQC requirements and provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care.

The care home offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.

Internally, the attention to detail is impressive. The high specification and décor of Grosvenor Manor have been carefully considered by an interior designer, creating stylish yet comfortable and practical spaces for residents to enjoy.

Arranged over two floors, the facilities at Grosvenor Manor are exceptional, with each floor enjoying its own communal lounges and restaurants. All bedrooms boast en-suite wet rooms, and there is also a spa assisted bathroom, hairdresser & nail bar.

There are beautiful, mature gardens and outside seating areas at Grosvenor Manor along with extensive terrace areas to the first floor.

Grosvenor Manor is absolutely wonderful. My husband is a resident and on 1st of July that was my 80th birthday, they made it so special for me as my husband can't do it anymore. They went over and beyond with flowers & chocolates and a balloon & they sang Happy Birthday. It is a day I will never forget
& my husband has the best care ever. My husband even sang it with the flowers & chocolates. Wonderful.

Grosvenor staff always put my mum first and give her so much care, attention and response to her dementia care.
They also provide a full programme of engaging activities to involve me mum and improve and support her we'll bring.
Highly recommend this superb care home.

Everybody, from the manager, the reception staff, and all the carers and nurses, have made us both feel so welcome since my friend arrived a few weeks ago. The staff are friendly, caring and kind and treat my friend with dignity and respect, and are always listening to her wishes and responding to her
needs. The staff really are exceptional and go out of their way to make sure everything is how my friend likes it, even her cup of tea! A beautiful home and surroundings, but it's the staff who make this home a real home.

My mum was so anxious at the thought of a care home for respite while I recovered from an operation but as soon as we walked through the doors I could see her totally relax. The staff worked wonders and settled her in so quickly. She loves the food and the activities. The staff respond so quickly whenever

I've got nothing but high praise for the fantastic staff at Grosvenor Manor. They made the last few months of my dad's life so much more bearable than they could have been. They were kind, thoughtful, diligent and highly professional. With the condition my dad was in, he needed a lot of looking after,
and it can't have been easy work - but the staff did everything that needed to be done with great care, patience and humour, and he really appreciated their efforts. The home makes for a very pleasant environment: spacious, well furnished, welcoming and peaceful. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff are courteous, efficient and respectful throughout. Any concerns, large or small are always dealt with promptly and efficiently. Relatives are always greeted on arrival and departure and security is very good. My mother has been a resident for over five years and considers Grosvenor Manor
as her home. There is always something going on and the staff are caring and supportive and always taking the time for a little chat with residents. A very homely place, hard to fault it.

How do I praise enough, the service and care my mother receives from Grosvenor Manor? I don't feel I am articulate enough to do justice. The love, care and attention she receives is equal to that received from her caring and loving family. Yes, the whole feel from the entire staff is that of a loving
caring family, who show love, compassion and dedication. When I say entire staff, I really do mean each and every one.
I don't know how it is possible to give more than the 100% that is given throughout the year, but December and the run-up to Christmas went above and beyond! I am not going to and cannot select one section of staff over another, as each I feel give equally in their respective roles.

I have been very impressed with the service provided by Grosvenor Manor. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The home is lovely and clean and always staff around to answer any questions. There are also plenty of activities on a daily basis to engage
people if they wish to take part. I feel lucky that we were able to get a respite bed and did not hesitate to take up the offer immediately. I would hope to be able to make this place a permanent home for my husband.

Last year Mum came into Grosvenor Manor due to dementia. It's the hardest decision we have had to make, but the love and support from everyone has quelled our fears. I can't praise the staff highly enough. The manager runs a brilliant team. All staff know every resident by name, even though they may
not have direct contact with them. Rooms are superb with a brilliant wet room. There is a good choice of meals including a cooked breakfast and three courses for lunch and dinner, as well as supper at 8pm, if desired, also morning and afternoon tea/coffee with a biscuit or piece of cake. Activities morning and afternoon cover a very wide range of interests, including regular visits from singers and children from local schools and nurseries. Also, there are regular visits out. Every resident is treated with respect and care and are shown true affection.
Families are also well supported and believe me I have needed that support over the last twelve months.
Very, very well done Grosvenor Manor.

A wonderful experience from the moment we arrived just to look around. Mum loved it and knew instantly that this was the right place for her. The staff were extremely professional, welcoming and helpful and made you feel very relaxed. Mum decided to stay and signed up for 2 weeks of respite with a
view to being a permanent resident. What a greeting she received when we arrived to check-in. Everything so far has been wonderful, with all the staff, food and 24-hour care they provide.

Mum was admitted for 2 weeks of respite yesterday. The staff were amazing putting Mum at ease and explaining the process. It's a lovely care centre with all staff very welcoming and after Mum's first night, she is very happy with care. So much so she will probably like to stay here permanently. A big

My dad has settled well, after a period of live-in care at home that really did not work. Now he is settled, content, positive, and that is all down to both the superb staff and the lovely environment at this home. His clothes were all labelled in 30 mins from arrival, and I now cry with relief and
satisfaction, rather than - before he came here - anxiety and sadness. It really is a lovely place to visit too: I recommend it as much as the district nurse who told me about it.

The exterior of Grosvenor Manor is attractive with well-established plants and shrubs and parking space is more than adequate. The reception team were welcoming and helpful while the decor and furnishings were bright and modern. My friend's room was spacious and had a lovely outlook on the garden. I
had lunch there and found it plentiful and very tasty. A lovely place to visit a good friend.

Mum moved into Grosvenor Manor Care Home in November 2023, and I’ve seen such a positive change in her in such a short space of time. Before the move to Grosvenor Manor, Mum’s dementia worsened considerably over a 12-month period. Since then, the care team and support staff have somehow re-ignited her
and given her a new sense of purpose. She loves the daily activities and has already developed very close relationships with several members of the team and with some of her fellow residents. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone involved with Grosvenor Manor from the front desk to the carer team, the management, and the general support staff. I can honestly say that this has been the best thing to have happened to Mum in years and I really look forward to visiting her in her new surroundings.

My mum suffers with dementia and Grosvenor Manors varied activities provide her with stimulation and enjoyment. Every member of staff that she encounters during the day greets her with a smile and a hello which helps her feel safe and part of a community. The home is decorated beautifully and cleaned
immaculately. Other areas I have to commend are the laundry services provided by house keeping and the weekly GP visits.

My 94-year-old mother received a very warm welcome by everyone. Care staff are wonderful, making it clear they are there to support me as well as her.
Very reassuring that they don’t use agency staff, treating their staff as well as they do their residents.

Job Title: Head of Care

I have 35 years experience of working in care. My background is nursing care working in Hospitals and also Nursing homes. I worked as a Clinical Support worker for the NHS and following this I managed a Complex care unit where I also trained and taught staff how to care for tracheostomy and ventilator care with spinal injuries and acute brain injuries. I have worked for New Care at Grosvenor Manor since 2020 and I can honestly say this is where I have learnt and have seen patient centred care that is given to the highest of standards. I am excited to now be able to join the management team at Grosvenor Manor as Head of Care to support our Home Manager, our excellent wellbeing team and our dedicated teams of care staff and Team Leaders. I am proud to be the Head of Care at Grosvenor Manor and to now be part of the management structure of such an amazing team. I am a caring and compassionate hardworking person and totally dedicated to providing excellent care to all residents.

I’m Lisa Forth I Joined our Grosvenor Family in April 2018. I facilitate our Wellbeing Programme to ensure our Residents have a Person Centred fulling & fun time at Grosvenor Manor. I’m married to Stephen who is an amazing support to me, we have four beautiful Granddaughters of whom we adore. I Feel Grosvenor Manor is my extended family, and family is very important to me.
