Grosvenor Manor has allowed my mum to have a full life whilst living with dementia. She has weekly trips to the on-site Hairdresser, at a proper salon. In addition she attends Sunday services, sings hymns, carols and pop songs. Has a bingo afternoon and does small garden projects such as planting up
bulbs in a pot; as well as baking and trips out! In fact the list of things to do is endless. She can choose to take part or not and family are always welcome to join in the fun. All of this is while surrounded by amazing care, housekeeping, hospitality and administrative staff. Mum has in a couple of years built such good relationships with all of the staff that she sees them as her family and friends.

As well as providing excellent daily care Grosvenor Manor always ensures that significant moments are celebrated in an extra special way. My wife has dementia and for her 82nd birthday Grosvenor Manor arranged a room for my wife and her guests to have afternoon tea together. They baked a delicious
birthday cake that was beautifully decorated. My wife invited four of her closest friends, as well as family to the event. I brought along a couple of bottles of champagne and we had a delightful afternoon tea. It was such a lovely day.

My deteriorating health meant my mother had to go into a care home. What a wonderful surprise! The lovely, caring atmosphere in Grosvenor Manor was evident from the minute I walked in (without a prior appointment). The care my mother receives has been second to none. She is well-cared for safe and
warm, but most of all, she is happy and stimulated. I do not know what more the staff could do to look after the residents. They are warm and caring, and always treat residents with the utmost dignity and respect. They don't need to be asked to help, they watch all be. Nothing is too much trouble. The safety and security aspect could not be better. The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. All the rooms are given a homely feel with residents own treasures. The lady in charge is unbelievably caring. Her kindness and wisdom are second to none. She makes you feel as important as you relative. What more can I add? Grosvenor Manor should be a winner for all they do. Many thanks to you all who work there.

Grosvenor Manor is exceptional in every way. Standards are high with excellent staff and facilities. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure needs are met with care and compassion. I cannot fault the attention to detail on the unfailing helpfulness of everyone I met. All in all, a very positive
experience and one that I cannot imagine being beaten in any way.

Grosvenor Manor cared for my husband with exceptional kindness, dignity, and professionalism during his final days. The team not only provided outstanding nursing care and dignified pain management but also created a warm and supportive environment for me and my daughter to be with him until the
end. The carers were compassionate, organised, and always available, making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. They provided meals and thoughtful touches that made a very difficult time much more bearable. We will always be grateful for the respect and tenderness shown to my husband and to us as a family. Couldn't recommend Grosvenor Manor more.

I am always very happy to see the care and support that staff provide for my mum. Well being team are also committed to provide quality activities and listen to residents views. Maintaining consistent staffing means that my mum builds good relationships with them and despite her dementia, she knows
and trusts all her carers. Highly recommend Grosvenor Manor to all.

Grosvenor Manor is absolutely wonderful. My husband is a resident and on 1st of July that was my 80th birthday, they made it so special for me as my husband can't do it anymore. They went over and beyond with flowers & chocolates and a balloon & they sang Happy Birthday. It is a day I will never
forget & my husband has the best care ever. My husband even sang it with the flowers & chocolates. Wonderful.

Everybody, from the manager, the reception staff, and all the carers and nurses, have made us both feel so welcome since my friend arrived a few weeks ago. The staff are friendly, caring and kind and treat my friend with dignity and respect, and are always listening to her wishes and responding to
her needs. The staff really are exceptional and go out of their way to make sure everything is how my friend likes it, even her cup of tea! A beautiful home and surroundings, but it's the staff who make this home a real home.

My mum was so anxious at the thought of a care home for respite while I recovered from an operation but as soon as we walked through the doors I could see her totally relax. The staff worked wonders and settled her in so quickly. She loves the food and the activities. The staff respond so quickly
whenever she needs any help. Thank you so much.

I've got nothing but high praise for the fantastic staff at Grosvenor Manor. They made the last few months of my dad's life so much more bearable than they could have been. They were kind, thoughtful, diligent and highly professional. With the condition my dad was in, he needed a lot of looking
after, and it can't have been easy work - but the staff did everything that needed to be done with great care, patience and humour, and he really appreciated their efforts. The home makes for a very pleasant environment: spacious, well furnished, welcoming and peaceful. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff are courteous, efficient and respectful throughout. Any concerns, large or small are always dealt with promptly and efficiently. Relatives are always greeted on arrival and departure and security is very good. My mother has been a resident for over five years and considers Grosvenor Manor
as her home. There is always something going on and the staff are caring and supportive and always taking the time for a little chat with residents. A very homely place, hard to fault it.

How do I praise enough, the service and care my mother receives from Grosvenor Manor? I don't feel I am articulate enough to do justice. The love, care and attention she receives is equal to that received from her caring and loving family. Yes, the whole feel from the entire staff is that of a
loving caring family, who show love, compassion and dedication. When I say entire staff, I really do mean each and every one.
I don't know how it is possible to give more than the 100% that is given throughout the year, but December and the run-up to Christmas went above and beyond! I am not going to and cannot select one section of staff over another, as each I feel give equally in their respective roles.
A sincere thank you to all at Grosvenor Manor.

I have been very impressed with the service provided by Grosvenor Manor. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The home is lovely and clean and always staff around to answer any questions. There are also plenty of activities on a daily basis to
engage people if they wish to take part. I feel lucky that we were able to get a respite bed and did not hesitate to take up the offer immediately. I would hope to be able to make this place a permanent home for my husband.

Last year Mum came into Grosvenor Manor due to dementia. It's the hardest decision we have had to make, but the love and support from everyone has quelled our fears. I can't praise the staff highly enough. The manager runs a brilliant team. All staff know every resident by name, even though they may
not have direct contact with them. Rooms are superb with a brilliant wet room. There is a good choice of meals including a cooked breakfast and three courses for lunch and dinner, as well as supper at 8pm, if desired, also morning and afternoon tea/coffee with a biscuit or piece of cake. Activities morning and afternoon cover a very wide range of interests, including regular visits from singers and children from local schools and nurseries. Also, there are regular visits out. Every resident is treated with respect and care and are shown true affection.
Families are also well supported and believe me I have needed that support over the last twelve months.
Very, very well done Grosvenor Manor.

A wonderful experience from the moment we arrived just to look around. Mum loved it and knew instantly that this was the right place for her. The staff were extremely professional, welcoming and helpful and made you feel very relaxed. Mum decided to stay and signed up for 2 weeks of respite with a
view to being a permanent resident. What a greeting she received when we arrived to check-in. Everything so far has been wonderful, with all the staff, food and 24-hour care they provide.

Mum was admitted for 2 weeks of respite yesterday. The staff were amazing putting Mum at ease and explaining the process. It's a lovely care centre with all staff very welcoming and after Mum's first night, she is very happy with care. So much so she will probably like to stay here permanently. A
big thank you to all the staff.

Always given a warm welcome by the staff who cannot do enough to make my visit an enjoyable experience.

What can I say? Worth your weight in gold. 100% peace of mind. 100% quality of care. 100% respect and care shown to Dad.
So happy we found you!

My dad has settled well, after a period of live-in care at home that really did not work. Now he is settled, content, positive, and that is all down to both the superb staff and the lovely environment at this home. His clothes were all labelled in 30 mins from arrival, and I now cry with relief and
satisfaction, rather than - before he came here - anxiety and sadness. It really is a lovely place to visit too: I recommend it as much as the district nurse who told me about it.
