Bod Hyfryd Care Home

Nice little care home, not seen my friend in over 6 months. Staff are really friendly and nothing too much trouble. The rooms are clean and tidy and plenty of drinks and snacks are available when needed. Every staff member makes sure no one is left out.

The catering is amazing my dad loves the food and they make sure there’s always something for him.

The staff are always on hand and always fill us in with Mum's progress. 10/10.

I have found Bod Hyfryd Care Home to be a very caring place for my dad to be in. All the staff are lovely and I feel confident my dad is being well cared for. There is never an issue to the time I go and visit.

My dad has been in Bod Hyfryd Care Home since January. From the moment we walked in, everyone there was so friendly, so welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. My dad has settled in really well and is well looked after. After seeing many homes I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one.

I can’t think of anything negative. Mum was always clean, comfortable and cared for. The food was always fresh, and Mum would often be out of bed and in the day room even when she was very poorly. The week she passed away, the management went above and beyond to look after Mum and also her family. Thank you all so much - couldn’t recommend enough.

Lovely little home, my great great aunt has been a resident for a few months now. The home is clean and welcoming, staff are just lovely and are really friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble from the housekeepers to management. Would recommend Bod Hyfryd Care Home to anyone who is looking for nursing care for their family as everyone is treated as part of the family!

Bod Hyfryd provided excellent care and was able to cater for both dementia and nursing care, right up to and including end-of-life care. Residents are well fed and the lovely attitude of the staff towards residents and visitors is something to be proud of. An excellent team, overall.

From the time Mum became a resident at Bodhyfryd Care Home, until the time Mum left us, she was cared for with excellent priority from all the staff. As a family, we were cared for to the same standard. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff members. We would recommend this care home to anyone who is in the same situation as ourselves. Could not get any better. We made the right choice.

What a lovely visit to Bod Hyfryd. The Christmas decorations look spectacular and we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were friendly and professional ensuring that we had a negative test before entering. The home is clean and tidy and the care staff were approachable and showed great compassion. My aunt advised me that the food is great and she has a choice of meals throughout the day. It was lovely and reassuring to see that my aunt is so well cared for and shown dignity and respect. Well done to all the staff and thank you.

Since the restrictions have changed regarding visiting we have been able to visit my Grandma regularly. The staff are always really friendly and helpful whenever we visit or telephone to see how my Grandma is and talk to her, she seems very happy at Bod Hyfryd and is it a huge comfort for us to know she is so well taken care of.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We moved our mother from another home; she seems so much happier now. Staff answer the phone and support telephone contact. We no longer worry. They have an activity coordinator, and our mother's artwork is sent to us. There are regular newsletters. Staff are consistent and genuinely seem to care. They speak positively about or mother. The home is very well looked after.

It's been a tough few months for us all, but I can't begin to imagine how hard it's been for the residents and staff in care homes across the country, which is why I am privileged to be associated with Bod Hyfryd. My friend of many, many years has received the highest level of care from this little care home with a massive heart. Lockdown has been incredibly tough not being able to visit the home, however, the manager and her staff have put in place and facilitated Skype calls which for us older folk is quite daunting initially but the staff have been wonderful in walking me through the process and always on hand to help so that although it's not the same as being able to visit face to face, its most definitely the next best choice and I am thankful to them for going the extra mile. They are all heroic for the selfless attitude they have shown during this pandemic and I can't begin to thank them for all they have done and continue to do for my much-loved friend.

I have had the experience of this well-led caring and compassionate home since December 2016. Throughout this time I have visited frequently (until lockdown) and have been impressed by the manager and all the staff. At no time have I had reason to complain but many occasions to compliment. Any issue is dealt with immediately and in a pleasant manner. I would thoroughly recommend the care home.

An absolutely fantastic place. Home from home. Management and staff are all brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. A lovely family warmth in the home. Everybody is always smiling, even at this difficult time. They are always ready to talk to you about any issues over the phone. First-class place.
