A wonderful home with great staff. A huge improvement on Mum's previous residential care home. We couldn't ask any more for Mum and it's a pleasure to visit. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

My mother has been a resident at Bod Hyfryd since March 2020. She has received excellent care at all times. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and respond to all queries in a prompt manner. The management at the home is excellent and friendly. My mother is in a very safe and secure environment.

From the time Mum became a resident at Bodhyfryd Care Home, until the time Mum left us, she was cared for with excellent priority from all the staff. As a family, we were cared for to the same standard. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff members. We would recommend this care home to anyone who
is in the same situation as ourselves. Could not get any better. We made the right choice.

What a lovely visit to Bod Hyfryd. The Christmas decorations look spectacular and we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were friendly and professional ensuring that we had a negative test before entering. The home is clean and tidy and the care staff were approachable and showed great compassion.
My aunt advised me that the food is great and she has a choice of meals throughout the day. It was lovely and reassuring to see that my aunt is so well cared for and shown dignity and respect. Well done to all the staff and thank you.

Since the restrictions have changed regarding visiting we have been able to visit my Grandma regularly. The staff are always really friendly and helpful whenever we visit or telephone to see how my Grandma is and talk to her, she seems very happy at Bod Hyfryd and is it a huge comfort for us to know
she is so well taken care of.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We moved our mother from another home; she seems so much happier now. Staff answer the phone and support telephone contact. We no longer worry. They have an activity coordinator, and our mother's artwork is sent to us. There are regular newsletters. Staff are
consistent and genuinely seem to care. They speak positively about or mother. The home is very well looked after.

It's been a tough few months for us all, but I can't begin to imagine how hard it's been for the residents and staff in care homes across the country, which is why I am privileged to be associated with Bod Hyfryd. My friend of many, many years has received the highest level of care from this little
care home with a massive heart. Lockdown has been incredibly tough not being able to visit the home, however, the manager and her staff have put in place and facilitated Skype calls which for us older folk is quite daunting initially but the staff have been wonderful in walking me through the process and always on hand to help so that although it's not the same as being able to visit face to face, its most definitely the next best choice and I am thankful to them for going the extra mile. They are all heroic for the selfless attitude they have shown during this pandemic and I can't begin to thank them for all they have done and continue to do for my much-loved friend.

My mum came to Bod Hyfryd in December 2019 at the time she was distressed and confused due to her condition.
She had been in a previous home that didn't meet her needs.
I can't fault the amazing team at Bod from the management to the care staff, the housekeeping maintenance and lovely catering team.
Since lockdown staff have been brilliant in helping to reassure me about Mum.
Now I'm looking forward to a garden visit bringing her grandaughter along next week
Thanks to all at Bod for all you do for Mum.

I have had the experience of this well-led caring and compassionate home since December 2016. Throughout this time I have visited frequently (until lockdown) and have been impressed by the manager and all the staff. At no time have I had reason to complain but many occasions to compliment. Any issue
is dealt with immediately and in a pleasant manner. I would thoroughly recommend the care home.

An absolutely fantastic place. Home from home. Management and staff are all brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. A lovely family warmth in the home. Everybody is always smiling, even at this difficult time. They are always ready to talk to you about any issues over the phone. First-class place.

We are in unprecedented times, however, the communication we have received from the home, keeping up to date on my great aunt's wellbeing, including being able to video call - has made not being able to visit recently much easier to bear.
We look forward to being able to visit again soon to not only
see my aunt, but also all of the staff who are doing an amazing job.

When I come and visit, it always feels really homely and the staff smile and say hello, asking if they can help.
The food always smells nice and the kitchen staff and housekeeping staff are always very friendly and helpful.

I am extremely unhappy with the care of my Dad, he has been in your care supposedly for just over 2 weeks. I have never seen him out of bed once. despite being reassured that he would not be confined to his room. You don't give him his false teeth, when I came in yesterday, his bottom sheet had squashed
food in it, and the nurse just covered my Dad over with a clean top sheet, saying that she couldn't change his bottom sheet as everyone was on lunch. We are paying about £150 pounds per day, so I would expect 5-star treatment and the staff always say they are overrun.

I found the home to be reasonably well run. The staff were excellent. The home was usually clean and tidy. Management and staff were always approachable. Overall I was very happy with care both my late Wife and myself have received. I still visit the home regularly now and if I ever needed to go into
a home myself I would not have any concerns about coming to Bod Hyfryd.

When my father first became a resident 2 years ago, I had several concerns. The last 12 months or so having voiced those concerns and been listened to, the quality of the home has improved vastly in every aspect.


The staff from top to bottom are absolutely lovely, I cannot be happier. This is now

just the place I would wish for my dad (a dementia sufferer) to be cared for.

Very responsive, all very friendly, keeping my mum as comfortable as possible. Everyone tries to help in their own capacity. I'm always felt welcome anytime of the day. I can bring my mum's dog to see her with no problem.
I feel at ease that my mum is well looked after and they always keep me in contact
with what's happening.
