We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
• Perform welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and clients.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimise disruption.

Experience

• Proven experience in a maintenance role, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers is highly desirable.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset, showcasing leadership capabilities.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
